OAKWOOD, Ill. — Nestled within nearly 4,000 acres of natural beauty, Kickapoo State Recreation Area offers a diverse landscape filled with trails, water bodies, and abundant wildlife. Each year, more than a million visitors are drawn to the park’s expansive offerings, whether for hiking, biking, boating, or camping adventures.
