Alix Earle Says She Questioned How Much More to Share Before Earle Meets World

Alix and Ashtin Earle’s new reality show may carry the title Earle Meets World, but the truth is that millions of viewers already feel like they know them.

Alix built her massive following through candid “Get Ready With Me” TikToks, turning everyday moments into viral touchpoints and inviting strangers into her life one upload at a time. Still, stepping into a full reality series brought up a new kind of challenge: “How much more can I really share?”

“I think coming out of this experience, I’m like, ‘Oh, okay,’” she told DECIDER during a press junket last month, with Ashtin seated next to her and ready to complete the thought.

“There’s still a lot more that I could have shared!” Ashtin joked. Alix agreed, saying, “I’m excited for people to see it.”

Now streaming on Netflix, the series takes on some of the biggest storylines surrounding Alix, from her breakup with NFL player Braxton Berrios to the debut of her skincare brand Reale Actives. It also gives her room to discuss her side of the fallout with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper, whose Unwell Network once housed Alix’s Hot Mess podcast before she was dropped in 2025. Explaining why Earle Meets World felt like the right place to address it all, Alix said the format offers something different from social media because “you’re not necessarily sitting there and scripting out some type of post or anything.”

“You’re just sort of letting it unfold in real time,” she continued. “And I think that’s something that is missing on social media, is that it can be a little bit more, you know, not curated, but you’re not watching someone go through something. It’s a little different than if you’re going and putting out a post and telling a story after. I think being able to watch us go through those moments or to have those tough conversations with each other is a beautiful thing at the end of the day, although it feels a little scary in the moment.”

DECIDER: You both have let people into your personal lives through platforms like social media and even Dancing with the Stars. How did shooting a reality series like Earle Meets World differ from these other platforms? And did you still feel like you could be as natural as you guys are on these other platforms?

ALIX: Yeah,  I mean, I think it definitely, you know, at first took just a second to get used to having other people in the room with you for those more vulnerable moments. But I think it was pretty natural going and just trying to lean on what I always do, I think, with my content, which is just like being honest and transparent.

ASHTIN: Yeah, honestly, I feel like it came to me more naturally than I thought it would. I thought I was gonna be really horrible in front of a camera, but I kind of got the hang of it. But yeah, it definitely was weird being so much more open and vulnerable than I’m used to. I feel like Alix is usually the one who’s very open on social media, and I’m like, I’ll talk about things if I want to, but not really. But it definitely took some getting used to with like—

ALIX: I will say though, I think like going into it, I was like, you know, I’m so open and honest online, like how much more can I really share? And I think coming out of this experience, I’m like, oh, okay.

ASHTIN: [Laughs] There’s still a lot more that I could have shared!

ALIX: There’s a lot more that I could’ve shared! So yeah, I really think we really went there and I’m excited for people to see it.

The show, like you said, covers a ton of ground, whether it be about your romantic life, whether it be about online drama. Why did you feel like this show was the proper platform to kind of speak out on all these things?

ALIX: I think because you’re not necessarily sitting there and scripting out some type of post or anything. You’re just sort of letting it unfold in real time. And I think that’s something that is missing on social media, is that it can be a little bit more, you know, not curated, but you’re not watching someone go through something. It’s a little different than if you’re going and putting out a post and telling a story after. I think being able to watch us go through those moments or to have those tough conversations with each other is a beautiful thing at the end of the day, although it feels a little scary in the moment.

Definitely.

ASHTIN: I also think something about having cameras up, it’s kind of like we really had to talk through things maybe more than we would have wanted to. But it’s a great experience and just a different outlook on everything that we’ve been going through.

One of the things I loved getting to see in this show was you starting to create your meal at Dunkin. I’m such a Dunkin girlie, so I was so excited. What was it like putting that together, and has it been finalized yet?

ALIX: It has been finalized and it comes out this week, but I know when this comes out, it’ll be a little later. But it was really fun. And I mean, even that scene, for example, of getting to put the meal together and then all of a sudden we’re throwing Munchkins at each other’s heads. It’s just so chaotic and natural for our family [laughs].

ASHTIN: That was so much fun.

ALIX: So it was fun to get to put that together. And it was a meal that I love, and I love the coffee, so I’m very excited to now get it every day as the Earle-y Riser Meal.

I love it. And tomorrow, Pumpkin Spice comes out, so I’m very excited to make my trip.

ASHTIN: Oh my gosh, it’s already pumpkin spice season! That’s my favorite!

I know! Crazy. And although this is an unscripted series, the series does kind of end on a bit of a cliffhanger. Do you think this could tee up a Season 2, or are you both open to returning for another season?

ALIX: 100%. I mean, I am definitely open to it and we will see what happens. But I definitely think there is stuff that is left unsaid in Season 1 and I would love to share and give updates on where we are now.

ASHTIN: Yeah, I think a Season 2 could be fun, you know? I feel like there was a lot of hard moments we had on this season and we could maybe have some more fun on Season 2.

ALIX:  Yeah, I want to do it again and maybe not cry so much, is what I was saying. I was like, maybe a little bit of a happier season for me [laughs].

ASHTIN: Alix is like, “I gotta redeem myself!” [Laughs]

Completely! And at DECIDER, we’re a website that’s dedicated to all things streaming. So what are you both watching right now? What shows, what movies are you into right now?

ASHTIN: We just started Sterling Point together, but we’re only a few episodes in. But I’m intrigued. Yeah, what else are we watching?

ALIX: I don’t think I’m watching anything else right now. Am I? Hmm, I think that’s really it.

I have to tell you, keep watching. I love that show.

ALIX: Oh really? Ok!

ASHTIN: Oh my gosh. Ok good.

ALIX: I wasn’t sure how I felt, but I’m going to keep watching now.

ASHTIN: Yeah no, I was getting a little lost, but I’m excited.
