Two fraternities at Louisiana State University have been placed on suspension while the school examines allegations of hazing.
Delta Kappa Epsilon and Phi Gamma Delta, commonly called “FIJI,” are under interim suspension as LSU investigates the claims, WAFB reported.
LSU confirmed the temporary suspensions to News Media.
According to WAFB, an urgent complaint was filed Sept. 3 after an individual told his roommate that DKE members had made him perform wall sits while allegedly waterboarding him.

Reports allege that FIJI pledges were made to drink an entire gallon of chocolate milk, leaving several of them vomiting.
The pledges were also reportedly instructed to bring a squirrel to one of the fraternity’s meetings.

Delta Kappa Epsilon provided the following statement to News Media:
FRATERNITY ‘CODE OF SILENCE’: WHISTLEBLOWER SPEAKS OUT FOLLOWING OLE MISS DEATHS AND ALLEGED PENN STATE COKE RING
“Delta Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity is aware of the allegations involving the Zeta Zeta Chapter at Louisiana State University and takes them seriously. DKE is cooperating with the appropriate authorities as they review the matter. We will take appropriate action based on the facts established through those processes. Because the matter remains under investigation, we will not comment further at this time.”
