Rihanna fired back at EJ Johnson after the TV personality poked fun at the singer for arriving an hour late to the Dior show during Paris Fashion Week on Sept. 29.
Earlier in the week, the “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” alum, who uses they/them pronouns, shared an Instagram behind-the-scenes look at getting ready to attend the luxury fashion house’s show.
Afterward, Johnson, 34, recapped the event for followers — and called attention to Rihanna’s late arrival.
“It did start an hour late because Rihanna was late and you know … we didn’t care to wait for her but the show was beautiful nonetheless,” they said in the video.
The following day, footage emerged showing Johnson being stopped from entering their Paris hotel after posing for a crowd of paparazzi.
“Damn,” the 38-year-old “Umbrella” singer wrote in the comments.
Page Six contacted representatives for both Rihanna and Johnson but did not immediately receive a response.
As the exchange drew attention online, several older videos also resurfaced showing Johnson taking aim at Rihanna’s fashion choices.
After the 2026 Met Gala in May, Johnson said major names including Beyoncé, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian had “fallen short” with their red-carpet looks.
“It’s a very hard day — especially for me to say that about Rihanna because she’s been going through a lot but like let’s go back to Guo Pei and the yellow cape that was cascading down the stairs all those years ago,” Johnson said in an Instagram video, referencing the Fenty Beauty founder’s memorable 2015 Met Gala ensemble.
“I mean, it was bomb,” the nepo baby added.
In a separate viral clip, Johnson displayed a Bottega calf-skin cape they had purchased.
“I think this is the one that Rihanna wore after the show,” said the “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” voice actor.
“I think she wore the sample that came down the runway but I was actually the only person that bought it off the runway,” Johnson continued.
