The 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Ye hosted her own pop-up booth during the festival’s 10th anniversary celebration. Visitors could shop exclusive merchandise, preview unreleased products and enjoy ice cream.
North’s Complex collaboration was not a first. In May, she teamed up with the brand for a two-day activation at its Fairfax store marking the release of her debut EP, N0rth4evr. Ye made a surprise appearance on the opening day to sign merchandise and pose for photos with fans, while Kim visited the following day to support her daughter.

Also in May, North joined rapper Molly Santana onstage at Rolling Loud in Orlando to perform an unreleased track. The following month, she delivered her first solo festival set at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Chicago.
In a recent interview with Dazed, the young musician made it clear that she has no plans to wait until adulthood to pursue a career in music.
Asked about the worst advice she had received, North replied, “To start my career later. It’s like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life.”
Kim Kardashian recently told The Sunday Times Style that she sometimes has to temper North’s enthusiasm and carefully manage her growing ambitions.
“North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back. All she wants to do is forward-facing projects,” Kim said. “It’s like us really kind of trying to savour those moments and not doing everything that comes her way, so we can really make sure that we manage it the right way.”
Kim also said she and Ye share a mutual understanding when it comes to North’s music career.
“And with her, since it’s more music-related, that is something that her dad and I have better communication about,” Kim said. “We make sure that we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve.”
ComplexCon concludes Sunday, Oct. 4. The two-day Los Angeles event features more than 300 brands, along with live music, product launches, art installations, food and panel discussions.
