Prince William and Kate Middleton Unlikely to Receive an Apology From the Sussexes

Reports had suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to repair their relationship with Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales. However, they reportedly remain unwilling to apologize for their explosive 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. During the broadcast, Harry and Meghan claimed that a member of the royal family had raised concerns about the color of Archie’s skin while Meghan was pregnant. However, an insider close to the Sussex camp advised People that, as eager as they might be to reconcile, the Prince and Princess of Wales probably shouldn’t hold their breath for an apology any time soon. “Prince Harry and Meghan remain defiant,” royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Page Six, clarifying, “My own sources have told me this story is absolutely not true.”

The strained relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry, however, shows no clear sign of improving. For now, William is reportedly watching to see how long the couple remains in the U.K. before returning to the United States. “He intends to make things as difficult for them as he can because the sooner they leave, the better,” the insider claimed.
