VisionQuest Release Date and Time: How to Watch, Early Premiere Details and Cast

Welcome back, Vision.

Five years after WandaVision debuted and two years after Agatha All Along, Marvel’s trilogy reaches its conclusion with VisionQuest. The new miniseries premieres tonight, Oct. 13.

Taking place roughly four to five years after Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) dismantled the hex that housed her reality with Vision—and the twin sons she created within it—the series brings Paul Bettany back as the resurrected android. As Vision searches for answers about his identity, he’ll communicate with a range of artificial-intelligence personas woven into his programming.

Watch VisionQuest

Vision soon discovers that a bounty has been placed on him, sending him into hiding alongside a mysterious teenager who may be the reincarnation of one of his sons.

What Time Does VisionQuest Come Out?

The first two episodes of VisionQuest debut tonight, Oct. 13, at 9 p.m. ET.

How to Stream VisionQuest

Disney+ has several subscription tiers. The ad-supported plan costs $12.49 per month, while the ad-free option is priced at $21.49 monthly or $214.99 annually.

VisionQuest Episode Guide and Release Schedule

VisionQuest will release new episodes weekly through Nov. 10. Here is the complete schedule.

VisionQuest Cast Guide

The VisionQuest cast includes a mix of returning MCU favorites and new performers.

  • Paul Bettany as Vision, a superpowered synthezoid and former Avenger created using the AIs J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron

  • James Spader as Ultron, an AI created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner for a peacekeeping program, before developing a god complex and attempting to eradicate humanity (as seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron)
  • Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff / Speed and Thomas Shepherd, the speedster son of Vision and Wanda Maximoff and twin brother of Billy Maximoff
  • Todd Stashwick as Paladin, a bounty hunter who is hunting Vision
  • T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, an android driven by revenge
  • Lauren Morais as Lisa Molinari, Tommy’s partner-in-crime
  • Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., an AI created by Stark to replace J.A.R.V.I.S. as his personal assistant
  • Diane Morgan as the Handler
  • Polly Frame as Fiona Guthrie
  • Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer as D.U.M.-E and U, a pair of robots created by Stark to assist him in his workshop
  • Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., an AI created by Stark that runs an augmented reality security and defense system
  • James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S, the first AI created by Stark, developed to serve as his personal assistant. D’Arcy returns to the MCU after playing Edwin Jarvis, the man who served as the AI’s inspiration, in Agent Carter.
  • Do You Need to Watch Agatha All Along Before VisionQuest?

While it’s not strictly necessary to watch Agatha All Along before tuning into VisionQuest, it does help to add some context to the sudden reappearance of 18-year-old Tommy Maximoff, who was 10 years old the last time he appeared in the MCU.

If you didn’t check out Agatha All Along or just need a refresher, here’s what went down: Billy Maximoff (Joe Locke) fully comes into his powers by the end of the series, and like Wanda, he has the ability to alter reality on a large scale. With the help of Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) and the chaos magic inherited from his mother, Billy was able to find his twin brother’s soul and, much like what happened with his own, place it into the body of a dying boy. As the series wrapped up, Billy and Agatha’s ghost set out to find his twin brother.

WandaVision, on the other hand, is considered essential viewing ahead of VisionQuest.
