The father of Sahara Ray’s daughter has reportedly been identified days after the Australian model’s unexpected death at age 34.
According to TMZ, which cited Snow Ray Dow’s birth certificate, Michael Bradley Dow, 38, is listed as the child’s father. Ray gave birth to Snow in January.
Ray, an Australian swimwear entrepreneur, had not publicly disclosed the identity of her daughter’s father before she died Sunday.
The document reportedly states that Snow was born at 12:19 a.m. on Jan. 27 at a Los Angeles hospital.
Ray, who was romantically linked to Justin Bieber in 2016, died at a Los Angeles hospital surrounded by friends and family, the Daily Mail reported. She had reportedly suffered a fentanyl overdose on Friday.
She was taken to the hospital and placed on life support. Her family later made the decision to withdraw that support Sunday.
Authorities have not released an official cause of death, and it remains unknown whether the reported overdose was accidental.
Ray first introduced Snow to her social media followers in April, posting a photo of the baby set to Bieber’s 2025 song “Everything Hallelujah.”
“Baby snow hallelujah,” she wrote in the caption.
Her final known social media post, shared in July, included several pictures of her daughter.
“My whole heart 🤍 baby Snow,” Ray captioned the post.
Ray’s mother, Gretchen Bach, remembered her daughter as a “kind young woman” in a statement following her death.
“Sahara was an incredibly passionate and kind young woman who loved her family, fashion, her daughter Snow, and surfing,” Bach told the outlet.
“We’re feeling the love that is pouring in from her cherished friends, fans and the many communities that she was part of around the world,” she added.
Ray’s younger sister, Ruby Ray, also paid tribute Tuesday by posting a carousel of childhood and throwback photographs on Instagram.
The daughter of celebrated surfer Tony Ray had kept a relatively low profile in recent years.
Her last known public appearance came in November 2023, when she attended the Ashton Michael RTW + 10-Year Anniversary Show, “Punk Tsugi,” in Los Angeles.
Ray was accompanied at the event by her then-boyfriend, Mod Sun, and musician SIIICKBRAIN.
In April 2024, Ray revealed that she had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome after being struck by a car.
The autoimmune disorder left her partially paralyzed and dependent on a wheelchair.
