UFO Investigator Claims ‘Humanoid Predator’ Spotted Near US Border

A strange animal reportedly captured near the US-Mexico border has sparked speculation among UFO researchers, who say the creature does not resemble any known predator on Earth.

UFO investigator Jaime Maussan claims a mysterious carnivore has been stealing and killing chickens, roosters and rabbits in Mexico’s Valley of Juárez, a rural farming region along the Rio Grande.

Researchers who installed camera traps in the area say they recorded images of the suspected animal. The photographs appear to show a large white creature with a lengthy tail and oversized limbs.

According to Maussan’s research team, the figure does not seem to be a rodent, raccoon, rat, rabbit or another familiar species found in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Maussan said witness accounts describe the animal as fast-moving and highly intelligent. He claimed it can walk on two legs, has a vaguely human-like form and measures several feet from head to tail.

Although the images may suggest something otherworldly, Maussan said the creature might not be extraterrestrial. Instead, he speculated that it could represent an intelligence from another dimension occupying the same universe as Earth.

“Why did it appear there? It’s a mystery. Are they interdimensional beings? Are they beings who came with other beings? Did they come in ships?” Maussan told Mexican news outlets.

However, officials with Juárez Civil Protection said they had received no reports of a dangerous creature or missing animals in the area, despite the images being presented on October 17.

At a Saturday press conference, four research assistants working with Maussan said they estimated the creature’s size after watching it climb over a tall brick wall.

Using the wall’s large bricks for comparison, the team estimated that the animal measured nearly six feet from its head to the tip of its tail. They said the tail alone was about three feet long.

The surveillance footage showed the figure moving along the ground and scaling the wall, but it did not capture the creature standing upright on its hind legs—a behavior Maussan suggested it may be capable of.

The team also said animal specialists examined the case and concluded that the figure did not appear to be a typical Earth mammal. Those specialists reportedly suggested it could be an animal undergoing some kind of mutation.

“It’s a predator. I’m not saying it’s extraterrestrial, but it is something scary,” Maussan told NetNoticias.Mx.

“Its intelligence and agility are truly frightening. I don’t believe it attacks people, but it is affecting the interests of those who live in the so-called Juárez Valley.”

Maussan said he began looking into the reports after an unnamed boy allegedly saw the creature seize a chicken by the head before racing up a nearby tree.

He likened the case to the “El Ser de Metepec” incident, which he investigated in 2007. Maussan described the latest predator as an adult version of the hairless, alien-like creature reportedly found by a farmer near Mexico City.

Some residents have also reportedly left their homes out of fear of the non-human entity in the valley, according to Maussan, but these claims have not been confirmed by authorities.

Police on the US side of the border in Texas told the El Paso Times that there have not been any reports of strange encounters or farm animal deaths since Maussan first made the claims on October 5.

Maussan has a long record of making wild claims connected to UFOs and extraterrestrial life, including some high-profile incidents which turned out to be hoaxes.

In 2023, Maussan presented two ‘non-human’ mummies reportedly discovered in Peru to the Mexican Congress, which he claimed was proof of alien life.

However, forensic experts concluded the so-called alien mummies were actually manufactured dolls assembled from animal and human bones using glue and paper.

Even Maussan’s investigation into El Ser de Metepec, which he claimed was an alien after it was allegedly killed in a farmer’s rat trap, was later discovered to be a modified squirrel monkey created by a local taxidermist.

According to the US government, there has never been any physical evidence recovered that proves the existence of UFOs or alien life.

However, US lawmakers, former military personnel and some religious leaders have expressed their belief in the possibility that sightings of strange creatures could be visitations by beings from other planes of reality.

These beings have been compared to ghosts, demonic spirits and biblical entities such as angels – leading some to believe these visitations were written about in the Bible.
