Stella Banderas Griffith, Melanie’s daughter with fellow actor Antonio Banderas, is striking in her own right—and clearly shares features with several members of her famous family. Although Stella keeps a lower profile than her older half-sister, she is far from a recluse. In 2024, she appeared alongside her father in a Mercedes-Benz campaign, and in 2021, she teamed up with her mother for a Bvlgari campaign. She has also made appearances on red carpets at fashion shows and film festivals, while occasionally featuring in posts shared by relatives.

Stella may not be an exact copy of either parent, as some celebrity children are, but her family resemblance is unmistakable. From certain angles, she strongly resembles Johnson—and, honestly, anyone hearing her speak in one of her campaigns might mistake her voice for that of the “Verity” star. Stella also shares the distinctive green-blue eyes seen in her mother, half-sister, and grandmother Tippi Hedren. Her eyebrows, meanwhile, immediately hint at her connection to Antonio. With a mother, father, grandmother, and half-sister all connected to Hollywood, it would be easy to assume Stella Banderas Griffith planned to become an actor. She has not rejected the family business, but she also does not appear to be actively pursuing a career as a movie star. In a 2025 interview with Hola! magazine, she described herself as “A writer, perfumer, naturalist, and practitioner of yoga and reiki.” Her interest in perfumery is particularly fitting, considering that Antonio Banderas has spent years building a career in the fragrance industry. The “The Mask of Zorro” star has also emphasized that his involvement goes beyond simply endorsing products, as he takes part in every stage of their production.

While she doesn’t seem to be vying to be on camera, Stella has hinted at working behind the scenes. In addition to directing a video campaign for jewelry brand Her Children, she’s also produced a campaign for creative talent agency NOVA, which included not just her dad, but “Friends” star David Schwimmer as well. Her proud papa told Fox News Digital in 2023 that even though Stella had studied acting, he didn’t think she dreamed of being, “In front of the camera, at least not now.” Instead, she’d directed short films in addition to her advertising campaigns, and Antonio believed she’d probably “end up directing movies” as a result. Well, if Stella ever does change her mind, she certainly looks the part of a movie star. However, we’re all for her cutting her own path and doing what she really wants to do.
