DaBaby and DaniLeigh have resolved their legal dispute involving their 5-year-old daughter, Velour Babyleigh Kirk.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show that the former couple agreed to a 13-page settlement requiring DaBaby to provide monthly child support. The payment amount has not been made public, while the terms of their custody arrangement remain confidential.

DaniLeigh filed a paternity case in 2024 seeking child support for Velour. In court documents, she identified herself as the child’s primary caregiver.
DaBaby later requested joint custody, stating that he had remained actively involved in his daughter’s life since her birth.
The musicians ended their relationship nearly five years ago, in November 2021, after a dispute between them unfolded during an Instagram Live session.
Although their relationship has been turbulent, DaBaby and DaniLeigh have continued to unite for meaningful milestones in Velour’s life.
In September, the former couple attended the Rookie Kids: Runway on Broadway event at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City to show their support for Velour.
They also reunited in 2023 for Velour’s second birthday, celebrating with a Moana-themed pool party attended by family and friends.

During a recent interview with EARMILK, DaniLeigh discussed the profound influence motherhood has had on her personal life and career.
“Motherhood changed everything for me,” she said. “My daughter is literally my biggest motivation. Everything I do now, I think about how it’s going to affect her and what kind of example I’m setting.”
She added that becoming a mother has also made her more mindful of the messages in her music and the potential effect her lyrics could have on Velour.
“I want her to grow up listening to my music and feeling proud of her mom,” DaniLeigh said. “I want her to hear messages about loving herself, knowing her worth, having faith, and being strong.”

Most importantly, DaniLeigh wants her daughter to recognize that hardship does not have to determine the course of her life.
“More than anything, I want my daughter to know that no matter what life puts you through, you can grow, you can heal, and you can always become a better version of yourself,” she said.
