South Carolina Police Chase Suspect Crashes Into Home While Fleeing

Dramatic dashcam footage shows a car crashing into a South Carolina home during a police pursuit before two people run from the scene.

Two police vehicles arrived moments after the collision on Renwood Road in Simpsonville, with one officer pursuing a person who had fled on foot.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said deputies tried to stop a vehicle reported stolen at about 2:30 p.m. on October 15, 2026. The driver allegedly sped away before crashing into the house shortly afterward.

No injuries were reported following the crash.

In a Facebook update, police said two juveniles, aged 15 and 16, had been taken into custody. They face charges of possessing a stolen vehicle.

The collision was captured by the dashboard camera of a grocery delivery driver who was dropping off an order at the property.

Kristina Andriukova, 32, was carrying groceries to the front door when a sudden, loud impact caused her to turn around.

“I turned around and saw that a car had crashed into the house,” Andriukova said.

“At first, I thought the driver had accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and driven into the garage.”

The arrival of police cars with their sirens blaring soon made clear that the crash was linked to a pursuit.

“Moments later, police cars arrived with their sirens on, and I saw someone running away,” she added.

“That’s when I realized it was actually a police chase.”

Andriukova’s dashcam captured the crash because she had departed from her normal delivery routine and parked along the street.

“Normally, I pull into the driveway to get closer to the house, but for some reason, this time I decided to park on the street instead,” she said.

“My car ended up being parked near the house where the crash occurred.”

Andriukova returned to her vehicle and drove away, passing several additional police cars heading toward the scene.

She later saw a Facebook news report claiming that teenagers had stolen a vehicle and crashed into the home while attempting to escape from police.

According to Andriukova, the report said two suspects had been arrested, although she did not see the arrests herself.

Police initially said a person believed to be the driver had been detained after fleeing the crash.

A later update confirmed that two teenagers were in custody.

“I was simply doing my job, delivering groceries, and suddenly found myself in the middle of a dangerous situation,” Andriukova said.
