The Alexander brothers — once prominent figures in Manhattan’s luxury social and real estate circles — could face life in prison when they are sentenced Tuesday for drugging and sexually assaulting numerous women.
As many as 11 survivors are expected to address the three convicted brothers — 39-year-old twins Oren and Alon Alexander and their 40-year-old brother, Tal — during an emotional, daylong proceeding in Manhattan federal court.
Tal’s wife has filed for divorce since the case erupted. The wives of Oren and Alon, both former models, are also expected to attend the sentencing.
Tal and Oren were once high-profile real estate brokers who served celebrity clients including Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. They also helped broker hedge-fund billionaire Ken Griffin’s record-setting $240 million purchase of a Midtown penthouse. Their brother, who worked in private security, faces the same punishment: at least 15 years in prison after a jury convicted all three of sex-trafficking offenses.
Federal prosecutors are seeking life sentences, arguing that the brothers committed “sex crimes of extraordinary magnitude.” Eleven women testified during the trial, while more than 70 others have reported being assaulted by the siblings.
In a filing to US District Judge Valerie Caproni, prosecutors said the brothers had “spent years designing, executing, and perfecting their playbook of luring victims with promises of luxury, drugging victims so they could not resist, and then forcibly raping them.”
Caproni is scheduled to impose the sentences after hearing from women who say they were drugged, raped or groped by one or more of the brothers. The alleged assaults took place between 2008 and 2021, following meetings on dating apps and at upscale parties.

During the monthlong trial, jurors heard allegations that the brothers sexually assaulted women — at times acting together — at lavish Hamptons estates, New York City apartments, an Aspen ski trip and aboard a Caribbean cruise.
A Ukrainian model who testified under the name “Bela Koval” said a drugged beverage left her feeling “paralyzed” as Oren raped her inside a $13 million mansion in Sag Harbor where the brothers held parties.
“It was like my whole body was tranquilized,” Koval told the court.
A Nevada nurse identified in court as “Maya Miller” testified that Tal violently raped her while she cried in a shower at the same Hamptons property. She said Tal had flown her and a friend there for a long weekend in 2014.
Another woman told jurors that Alon raped her in a Manhattan apartment after she met him at an exclusive NBA Finals viewing party hosted by actor Zac Efron, who had a social connection to the brothers.
The brothers’ attorneys have urged the judge to impose the minimum 15-year prison term on each defendant.
In court filings, their lawyers said the brothers “steadfastly maintain their complete innocence of these awful charges.”
