Trump Claims He Kicked Jeffrey Epstein Out of Mar-a-Lago

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he had expelled Jeffrey Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after a protester interrupted his speech promoting Republican candidates in Ohio.

Trump was speaking at Ohio University in support of US Senate candidate Jon Husted and gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy when a man shouted from the audience: “Trump went on Epstein’s plane.”

The protester was met by boos from the crowd. As he was escorted from the building, Trump supporters began chanting, “USA, USA.”

Once the disruption had subsided, Trump chose to respond to the allegation.

“I threw Jeffrey Epstein out of my club like 20 years ago,” he said. “That was a great thing I did.”

“I threw Epstein the hell out of Mar-a-Lago,” Trump continued, adding that documents released by his administration regarding the investigation into the disgraced financier had “totally exonerated” him.

Trump then alleged that Epstein had associated with “all of the friends of the Democrats,” adding: “That’s what they do. They’re sick, weak people.”

Trump previously told the Daily Mail that his relationship with Epstein deteriorated after the financier recruited several employees from Mar-a-Lago.

“Everyone knows the people that were taken,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One in July as he returned from a five-day trip to Scotland. “People were taken out of the spa hired by him.”

He continued: “I didn’t know that. And then when I heard about it, I told him, I said, ‘Listen, we don’t want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa. I don’t want you taking people.’ And he was fine. And then not too long after that, he did it again. And I said, ‘Out of here.’”

However, at least one woman has alleged that Trump was involved in Epstein’s sexual misconduct.

The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, spoke with FBI agents four times between August and October 2019. She first contacted federal authorities shortly after Epstein’s arrest that year and alleged that a man named “Jeff” had raped her in Hilton Head, South Carolina, in the early 1980s, when she was about 13.

She told investigators that she did not know the man’s identity at the time. Decades later, she said, she concluded that he was Epstein after a friend sent her a photograph of him from a news report.

During a follow-up interview the next month, the woman made additional allegations. She claimed Epstein had arranged for her mother to be imprisoned, assaulted her and facilitated sexual encounters with other men.

She also alleged that, when she was between 13 and 15, Epstein took her to either New York or New Jersey. There, she said, in “a very tall building with huge rooms,” he introduced her to Trump.

According to the woman’s account, Epstein and Trump used the terms “fresh meat” and “untainted” when referring to girls.

Other people were present, she said, though she could not recall who. Trump asked them to leave, then said ‘something to the effect of, “Let me teach you how little girls are supposed to be,”‘ the interview notes state.

At that point, she said Trump unzipped his pants and forced her head ‘down to his penis.’

The woman claimed she ‘bit the s*** out of it,’ after which he pulled her hair and punched her on the side of her head.

‘Get this little b***h the hell out of here,’ the woman claimed Trump said, at which point others reentered the room. The FBI files contain no information about how the incident ended or how the woman left.

It remains unclear what became of the FBI’s investigation into the woman’s claims. She was also deemed ineligible for the Epstein Victims’ Compensation Program, which paid out more than 130 settlements.

There is no indication Epstein ever lived in South Carolina, and no evidence he and Trump knew each other in 1983, at least four years before the president has acknowledged becoming acquainted with the financier.

Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.

The Department of Justice noted in January that some of the documents released about the federal investigation into Epstein’s crimes contain ‘untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election.’

As the president now tries to rally support for Republican candidates ahead of next week’s midterm elections, he is facing renewed scrutiny amid the war in Iran even as he calls on supporters to vote as if he were on the ticket himself.

Driven by persistent voter anxiety over the economy, high inflation and low presidential approval ratings, Republicans face substantial political challenges, leaving Democrats well-positioned to potentially capture vital gains or reclaim congressional majorities.

A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finished on October 26 found that Trump’s approval rating is at just 32 percent, with 66 percent of voters disapproving.

Democrats also led Republicans 53 to 44 percent among likely voters on the generic congressional ballot, after undecided voters’ preferences were accounted for.

A majority of respondents claimed living costs were a big issue for them.
