Heidi Klum, Halloween’s Queen, Reveals Her 2026 Costume

After months of anticipation, the supermodel revealed her 2026 Halloween look, arriving at her annual celebration dressed as a giant severed hand.

The 52-year-old teased the transformation throughout the day with photos and videos documenting the costume’s creation. The behind-the-scenes glimpses featured what appeared to be boiling blood, fake intestines, other gory organs and industrial-style gold metal components.

Klum unveiled the finished costume late Saturday evening in a video that first showed her hand walking across the floor before revealing the full transformation. Her legs became two of the fingers, complete with red polish matching the manicure seen in the opening clip.

“I looked at my left hand and thought, ‘I could fit my body into this somehow,’” she said Saturday.

Klum revealed on her Instagram Stories that she wore a diaper beneath the oversized costume. She also said it took between “10 and 20 hands to make this hand.” The celebration marked her 25th annual Halloween party.

Klum’s rise to Halloween royalty began with a comparatively simple look. For her first party in 2000, she wore a leather dominatrix costume—an outfit she now describes as “boring” beside the elaborate creations that followed.

The following year, she made an even grander entrance, arriving at her second annual party on a real horse dressed as Lady Godiva.

Since then, the annual bash has grown into one of New York City’s signature Halloween events, attracting celebrities and widespread media attention as guests await Klum’s latest seemingly impossible transformation.

Last year, Klum became Medusa, complete with a head of moving snakes and a long serpent’s tail.

The year before, she and her husband, Tom Kaulitz, arrived as matching versions of E.T. Klum portrayed a female interpretation of the beloved alien in a costume that took a year to plan and required about 30 special-effects artists. Elaborate prosthetics concealed her face inside the costume’s neck.
