Tammy Hembrow has faced criticism after appearing to break from her family’s annual Halloween tradition to attend Melbourne’s spring racing carnival with her younger boyfriend.
The 32-year-old Queensland influencer attended Derby Day at Flemington on Saturday with 23-year-old Grayson Te Moana. She turned heads in a strapless lace dress with a sheer bodice.
However, her glamorous appearance at the races prompted questions online because Tammy has previously shared photos of herself dressing up with her three children and taking them trick-or-treating each Halloween.
‘So she ditched her kids’ Halloween dress up, family tradition to go to Melbourne,’ one social media user wrote beneath a photo of Tammy at the event.
‘First year [Grayson’s] been around and it’s already happening,’ they added.
Another commenter noted that Tammy’s children had not entirely missed out on the family celebration this year.

‘She did the Halloween dress up earlier in the week. But yeah, she does it every year. Truly sad,’ the user wrote.
Tammy shares 11-year-old son Wolf and nine-year-old daughter Saskia with ex-fiancé Reece Hawkins. She also has four-year-old daughter Posy with former fiancé Matt Poole.
Her appearance at the races comes as her relationship with Grayson continues to draw attention from the public.
The pair, who have a nine-year age difference, confirmed their relationship in February after sharing a kiss on the red carpet at the Sydney premiere of Wuthering Heights.

Grayson was back in the headlines last month after Tammy disclosed that he had experienced a ‘tense encounter’ with her former partner Reece.
Speaking on the Inherited podcast, Tammy told host Ruby Hall that Grayson had recently crossed paths with her former partner and the father of her children on the Gold Coast. She said the meeting was awkward for both men.
‘They actually met… it was nothing, really! They didn’t even shake hands, Grayson said hi, but it was a bit of a tense encounter,’ Tammy said.

‘It was very much like the current boyfriend meeting the ex! That is the best way I can describe it. I feel like it was going to happen at some point.’
Despite the frosty meeting with Reece, Tammy said Grayson had been warmly welcomed by her family and friends.
‘Grayson has met all my family and everyone adores him. My mum loves him, he is in group chats with my dad,’ Tammy said.
‘My family and friends love him! My friends are all strict with who they like, so it is really, really nice!’ she said.
Grayson is the latest in a string of high-profile romances for Tammy, who previously enjoyed a short-lived interstate relationship with footy star Bailey Smith.
She was also married to Love Island Australia star Matt Zukowski from November 2024 until June 2025, with the pair confirming they had parted ways after seven months of marriage.
