A Brooklyn man has been arrested in connection with the weekend rape of a woman who was allegedly followed into her Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment building, police said.
Reynaldo Mayna Cordero, 35, was arrested at about 10 p.m. Monday. He faces charges of rape, along with two counts each of sexual abuse and forcible touching.
According to the NYPD, Cordero approached the 27-year-old woman from behind on an e-bike at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday and initially slapped her buttocks over her clothing before riding away.

As the frightened woman attempted to enter her building, Cordero allegedly returned, followed her inside and raped her, police said.
The suspect then fled in an unknown direction on the e-bike. Police later released photographs of the alleged attacker.
Responders took the victim to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
Sources told The Post there was no indication that Cordero knew the woman.
