Lifetime Movie Star Natasha Wilson Says Dog Attack Left Her Permanently Scarred

Actress Natasha Wilson says a brutal dog attack left her with “permanent” facial scarring and prevented her from securing new acting work.

Wilson, known for appearing in several Lifetime television movies, alleges she was attacked at the West Hollywood Dog Park while trying to protect her French Bulldog, according to a lawsuit obtained by the New York Post.

The lawsuit, as reported by the Post, states that Wilson and her dog encountered Gregory Marcel and his dog, Scruffy, while walking through the park.

Wilson claims Scruffy attacked her dog, prompting her to intervene. She alleges she was then bitten in the face, suffering lasting injuries that have made it impossible for her to book additional roles.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Wilson and Marcel for comment but has not received a response.

According to the Post, Wilson’s lawsuit says she and her French Bulldog were at the dog park at about 9:40 p.m. on November 7, 2024, when they passed Marcel. His dog allegedly “stood over” Wilson’s dog “in an aggressive and dominant posture.”

Wilson alleges that a dog named Scruffy attacked her as she walked with her French Bulldog at the West Hollywood Dog Park (above) on November 7, 2024, at about 9:40 p.m.

Wilson says she attempted to lift her dog and move it away from Scruffy, but alleges that Marcel’s dog jumped on her as she tried to get clear.

“Scruffy continued to attack, while Wilson was on the ground attempting to shield her dog with her body and hands,” she claims in the lawsuit, according to the publication.

“During the attack Scruffy bit Wilson on the face, above her right eyebrow, causing a laceration and bleeding,” the lawsuit states.

Following the incident, Wilson went to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai, accompanied by Marcel.

She says doctors treated her injuries with multiple stitches and prescribed a course of antibiotics before sending her home.

The lawsuit claims, according to the Post: “Wilson suffered a laceration above her right eyebrow requiring sutures and has been left with a permanent, visible, and painful scar, an altered eyebrow, hair pattern, and impaired movement of the right brow.”

Doctors have reportedly told Wilson that she will require scar revision surgery to reduce the effects of the injury, along with additional treatment in the future, according to the publication.

Wilson also alleges that the attack brought her acting career to a standstill.

“Wilson was prevented from attending her usual occupation and thereby sustained a loss of earnings and an impairment of her earning capacity,” the lawsuit claims, according to the Post.

Wilson is seeking damages for medical costs, lost wages and diminished earning capacity, according to reports.

Her Instagram account contains no posts dated after June 2025. Since the alleged attack in November 2024, her remaining posts have consisted of clips from films made earlier or photographs that appear to have been taken in the past.

Before that, she had four acting credits in 2023 and two in 2022, with additional projects dating back to 2001.

Wilson became known in recent years for appearing in television romantic comedies and thrillers. Her most prominent role, however, came in the reality TV-themed drama series UnREAL, starring Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer.
