RHOSLC Recap: Angie Clashes With Mary, Calls Bronwyn a Snake

RHOSLC Recap: Angie Spirals and Makes a Shocking Comment About Mary’s Husband and Child as Mary Calls Her the “New Jen Shah,” and Angie Calls Bronwyn a “Slithering Snake” During Explosive Showdown

On this episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Bronwyn is still frustrated by how the previous party unfolded. As she tries to make sense of Angie‘s pot-stirring, Bronwyn begins questioning whether everything is truly okay between them. Meanwhile, Mary has had enough of Angie’s “hypocrisy and bullsh*t” and fears she is losing a friend. Angie’s sharp comments soon land her in serious trouble—and this time, repairing the damage may be difficult.

Lisa has been singing since childhood, and viewers have watched her perform throughout the series. She dreams of becoming a recording artist, and her thyroid condition is finally improving. The swelling in her ankles became so severe that the strain on her body left her unable to sing. Lisa says the experience nearly killed her, but she has managed to make it through that painful chapter.

Her husband, John, stops by to boost his “god” status—after all, he is “happy to worship her.” Lisa tells him about Quai’s reiki party, which Britani will not be attending. The gathering is intended to clear the group’s energy. They are certainly going to need it.

Heather arrives at Kemosabe, a favorite spot of Kyle Richards. Bronwyn has put on jeans, which everyone knows is a major warning sign. She is still furious with Angie after the party. Whitney was expected to join them but decides to stay away instead. According to Whitney, Heather intentionally created chaos, and Whitney is deeply disappointed. She is not ready to forgive Heather, and Bronwyn agrees with her.

After buying a couple of friendship scarves, they make their way to the secret bar. Heather realizes she has landed on both Whitney’s and Bronwyn’s sh*t lists. Bronwyn says Angie dumped the gossip into the group while Heather seemed eager to make things even messier. She believes Angie and Heather enjoy watching her struggle with Lisa. Angie has spent much of the season stirring the pot, and Bronwyn is beginning to wonder whether something happening at home is influencing Angie’s behavior.

Bronwyn knows that Shawn and Todd are friends, but she refuses to speak for Todd or reveal what the men discuss. Heather gives Angie an opening to talk with Shawn about her marital problems, but Angie does not take the bait. Bronwyn suspects Angie is acting as Lisa’s soldier. Lisa wanted her comments to reach Bronwyn and knew Angie would deliver the message, Bronwyn says. Angie denies that accusation and insists Bronwyn is simply difficult to get along with.

Angie accuses Bronwyn of believing she is smarter than everyone else, explaining that she was only trying to be a good friend. As Angie calls Bronwyn impossible, Bronwyn attempts to leave the bar.

Mary spends time with her cousin and reflects on how difficult it has been to find her footing after living in survival mode. She has not yet returned to church, but she tries to hold on to the belief that everything happens for a reason. Mary wanted to show her son, Robert Jr., the world, and she draws strength from memories of better days as she works through the darkest ones. Her faith remains her guide.

Mary says the women have supported her throughout this period, but she believes Angie has changed. She has never seen Angie behave this way before. Whatever Angie is facing is clearly affecting how she interacts with the group, and Mary feels Angie is now focused only on herself.

Angie, meanwhile, shows off her new Porsche—the first vehicle she has purchased with her own money. She is preparing to speak with her father and brother about the problems in her marriage. Angie worries her father may not support her and fears disappointing him. She explains that she wakes up anxious because of the growing distance between her and Shawn. He has been part of her family for 30 years, making the possibility of separation especially painful. Her father assures her that the family will stand behind her, whatever decision she makes.

It is the day of Quai’s reiki party, and she hopes the spiritual practice will help clear away the group’s turmoil. On the drive there, Bronwyn tells Mary that she is becoming increasingly frustrated with the women. She is disappointed in Angie, and Mary agrees that Angie seems concerned only with herself. Mary also says she was upset that Angie made a TikTok with Britani after the way Britani treated her.

Angie never checked in with Mary after Mary left the previous party alone, and Mary cannot understand why Angie continues to behave so messily. Once again, Bronwyn arrives wearing jeans—a clear sign that she has had enough of the drama. With tensions running high, everyone is eager for the reiki master to arrive.

Angie pulls Mary aside, and Mary immediately makes clear that everything is not fine. She is hurt and confused that Angie never followed up after she left the party alone, telling Angie that she has been “moving weird.” Mary questions why Angie stooped to making TikToks with Britani and says Angie should not place any additional burden on her. She bluntly tells Angie that she has not been a good friend and accuses her of having a “head of granite” because she refuses to listen.

Angie feels Bronwyn has stirred Mary up, so she excuses herself to regain control. Mary cannot understand why Angie needs to run off and cry. Heather and Lisa arrive as the confrontation continues. Angie later reminds producers that she speaks with Mary on the phone for three hours every night, and she resents the idea that Bronwyn is enjoying watching their friendship fall apart.

When Angie comes out of the bathroom, she says her feelings have been hurt as well. Mary is unimpressed and accuses Angie of being completely self-absorbed. Angie calls Bronwyn a snake before directing her anger at her.

Right on cue, the reiki master arrives while Angie continues her tirade against Bronwyn, promising never to support her again. Meredith arrives just as the reiki session begins. During the readings, the reiki master says Bronwyn is scattered and carrying a great deal emotionally. Lisa and Mary choose not to participate in the readings so they can protect their energy. Meredith is described as having a busy mind, while Whitney’s light appears somewhat dim.

The reiki master tells Heather that she needs to find a man (LOL) and advises Angie to release her anger and resentment. Angie’s throat chakra appears to open a little too freely, and she may soon regret some of the things she says. The foreshadowing is impossible to miss. Overwhelmed by emotion, Angie reaches her limit.

After the session, the women sit down to eat and drink. Quai encourages everyone to communicate with kindness as they work through their issues. Whitney goes first, explaining that she is upset with Heather and what she sees as Heather’s constantly shifting energy. Whitney clarifies that she does not believe Heather is two-faced, but says she feels overwhelmed and hurt. Lisa dislikes Whitney’s approach and is tired of Whitney portraying herself as the victim in every conflict.

Whitney thanks Lisa for making an effort, but Bronwyn interrupts as Angie begins to speak. Bronwyn did not want to hear Angie’s opinion about her boyfriend, yet Angie shared it anyway. Angie calls Bronwyn a deflector and a “slithering snake” who is manipulating the situation. She then warns Bronwyn to shut her “f*cking big f*cking mouth,” forcing Quai to step in as mediator with her miniature fog horn.

Angie says a trusted source told her that Bronwyn was only being nice to Todd until she received her $85,000 lump-sum payout. The argument escalates as the two go back and forth, and Bronwyn threatens to reveal what Shawn has told Todd.

Mary believes Angie is clearly in the wrong and says Angie is acting as though she has no manners or boundaries. Angie reminds Mary that she is a big deal. Mary questions when Angie became so self-centered and asks what happened to her husband and child. An enraged Angie fires back: “What happened to your husband? What happened to your child? What are you talking about?”

That is a shocking new low. Mary tells Angie to sit down and be quiet, comparing the furious outburst to Jen Shah. It is obvious that Angie has reached her breaking point. She appears to be missing the larger issue, which has nothing to do with self-care or facials.

Angie continues talking and seems to realize too late that she has gone far beyond the line. Even Lisa tries to stop the confrontation from completely derailing. Mary leaves as Angie attempts to apologize, but Mary says she never wants to look at Angie again. Once she begins to calm down, Angie admits she did not mean what she said—but by then, it may be too late to repair the damage.
