Kylie Minogue, 58, Stuns With Youthful Look at Chanel Show

Kylie Minogue stole the spotlight at Chanel’s first Australian fashion show in Sydney on Thursday, turning heads with her elegant arrival before taking to the stage at the star-studded afterparty to perform some of her biggest hits.

The petite pop icon, who celebrated her 58th birthday in May, left fans amazed by her remarkably youthful appearance.

Kylie was among the first celebrities to arrive, opting for a timeless cream ensemble. She wore a fine-knit Chanel cardigan, casually open at the neckline, with a matching skirt that fell just below the knee.

A black-and-gold Chanel chain belt sat low on her hips, with one end falling almost to the hem of her skirt.

She completed the look with a small black Chanel bag featuring the brand’s gold double-C clasp, while her blonde hair was styled loose in soft waves.

Fans were quick to comment on the singer’s smooth complexion, with several taking to Instagram to say she looked considerably younger than her age.

“Kylie looks best, by a mile,” a third admirer commented, while another simply declared: “Kylie looks fabulous.”

The Spinning Around singer attracted just as much admiration during the afterparty, after footage from her intimate concert began spreading online.

Introduced by Baz Luhrmann and Nicole Kidman, who attended the evening show, Kylie delivered flawless performances of Padam Padam and Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.

Sydney’s social crowd embraced the occasion on Thursday, turning out in Chanel as guests gathered at Barangaroo for the French fashion house’s first runway show on Australian soil. The event presented a replica of the 2026/27 Cruise collection unveiled in France earlier this year.

Kylie attended the afternoon presentation alongside Cathy Freeman and Dom Dolla, while Nicole, Baz and Margot Robbie were among the guests of honour at the evening event.

The singer had also amazed fans with her youthful appearance when she marked her 58th birthday in May, following the release of her new Netflix documentary.

For her birthday celebration at Lilibet’s Mayfair in London, she wore a white doily-style lace dress with an artistic brown clutch and later shared photographs from the evening on Instagram.

Michael Harte’s critically acclaimed three-part docuseries, Kylie Closer Than Ever Before, attracted 2.1 million views during its first week after premiering in May.

“My second cancer diagnosis was in early 2021. I was able to keep that to myself… Not like the first time,” Kylie revealed in the documentary.

“Thankfully, I got through it. Again. And all is well. Hey, who knows what’s around the corner, but pop music nurtures me.”

When the 5ft singer was first diagnosed with breast cancer, she underwent a lumpectomy and chemotherapy before being declared cancer-free in 2006.

“I don’t feel obliged to tell the world, and actually I just couldn’t at the time because I was just a shell of a person,” Kylie recalled.

There was not a line to be seen on the blonde beauty's flawless complexion

Fans praised the blonde star’s flawless-looking complexion, with many saying she appeared far younger than her years

“I didn’t want to leave the house again at one point. [My 2023 song] Padam Padam opened so many doors for me, but on the inside I knew that cancer wasn’t just a blip in my life.

“And I really just wanted to say what happened so I can let go of it. I’d sit through interviews and every opportunity I thought, ‘Now’s the time,’ but I kept it to myself.”

The documentary also includes interviews with Kylie’s sister Dannii Minogue, as well as Nick Cave, Jason Donovan and Pete Waterman.

Netflix is also showing Amy James’s concert film, which chronicles Kylie’s 66-date Tension Tour. The tour earned $78.4 million and concluded on August 26.

The Residence actress, who has 17.4 million monthly Spotify listeners, has sold more than 80 million records worldwide since releasing her version of Locomotion in 1987.

Away from music, Kylie has been single since ending her five-year relationship with British GQ creative director Paul Solomons in 2023.

The founder of Kylie Minogue Wines has previously been linked to her Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan, INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, French actor Olivier Martinez, Spanish model Andrés Velencoso and British actor Joshua Sasse.
