The Democratic Socialists of America drew intense criticism after featuring Hasan Piker in its election-night broadcast. Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt condemned the socialist organization for giving a platform to what he described as antisemitism and apologetics for terrorism. Piker responded with a vulgar online tirade as he celebrated Democratic gains and imagined former President Donald Trump being sent to prison.

Conservative Jewish influencer Lizzy Benichou was confronted during an open debate at the University of Michigan. Police detained the student suspect, while Benichou said she would not be intimidated or silenced.

Outrage has grown at Manhattan public school Stuyvesant High School after its Young Democratic Socialists of America chapter published a controversial post. The St. Louis Blues are working to address a controversy after anti-Israel demonstrators disrupted their home game against Vegas. Protesters in the stands unfurled banners reading “Free America from Israel” and “Israel kills.” Team chairman Tom Stillman called the incident “unforgivable,” apologized to fans and said antisemitic rhetoric would not be tolerated at the arena.

B’nai B’rith International CEO Evan R. Bernstein says Jews are increasingly targeted by extremists on both ends of the political spectrum. Pointing to stabbings in New York City, assaults on London’s streets and unrest in France, he said the far right portrays Jews as conspiratorial puppet masters while the far left depicts them as oppressors. In his view, both extremes endanger Jews while public safety is treated as an afterthought.

“Students deserve a learning environment free from Jew-hatred, and families deserve to know that school leadership takes their concerns seriously.” – Michelle Ahdoot of #EndJewHatred, addressing posts targeting Jews at a prestigious Manhattan school.
