Trump Hints on 60 Minutes at Cabinet Shakeups Beyond Susie Wiles

President Trump suggested that former chief of staff Susie Wiles may not be the only prominent administration official to leave following the Republican Party’s bruising midterm election losses.

In a “60 Minutes” interview recorded just hours before Wiles’ departure was announced, the president hinted at a possible shake-up within his Cabinet.

“I do,” Trump told correspondent Ross Douthat when asked whether he planned to remove members of his team after Republicans lost their majorities in both the House and Senate, according to a clip released Friday night.

The interview was taped before Trump announced that Wiles would be leaving her post. His remarks indicate that the administration’s personnel changes could reach beyond the White House chief of staff.

“A little bit,” Trump said. “I love my Cabinet. I think they’re good, but I’ll be making maybe a few changes.”

“I don’t want to mention who,” he added.
