Australia’s record-holder for the youngest goal scorer in a World Cup, Nestory Irankunda, expressed that achieving such a milestone is nothing short of a “dream come true.”

While Irankunda is known for his iconic backflip celebration, this time he opted for a punch to the corner flag, a gesture honoring his idol, Tim Cahill.
“Tim Cahill, alongside Lionel Messi, has been my greatest football inspiration,” Irankunda revealed.
“I just thought if I scored, I’ll do the same as him.”
