A firefighter has been taken to hospital after a fire truck rolled on the way to a bushfire that is threatening homes north-east of Perth.
Five firefighters were on the way to fight a fast-moving blaze threatening several communities when the truck rolled just before 1pm (AWST.
One man in his 40s suffered a minor injury, while the other four firefighters were not injured.
Authorities have issued a bushfire emergency warning to residents in parts of West Toodyay, Coondle and Julimar, warning there is a risk to lives and homes in the area.

“You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive,” the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) said.
“There is a threat to lives and homes.”
A bushfire watch and act is also in place for parts of Julimar and Moondyne.
