Five people have been injured, with one woman needing to be airlifted to hospital, after a golf buggy crashed on Hamilton Island in Queensland in the early hours of the morning.
The group were travelling in a 2014 E-Z-GO golf buggy on a driveway off Acacia Drive when it crashed about 1.30am, according to police.
One of the passengers, a 21-year-old woman from Willow Vale in the Gold Coast, was then flown to Mackay Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The other three passengers, a 21-year-old Cannonvale man, a 21-year-old Brandy Creek man and a 19-year-old Kew man, were also injured.

The driver, an 18-year-old Buddina woman, suffered minor injuries.
Police are investigating the crash.
Hamilton Island is a popular holiday destination in the Whitsundays where many guests get around on golf buggies.
