Renewable energy, free kinder, more healthcare workers, measures to cut the cost of living and a budget surplus.
These are just some of the promises premier Daniel Andrews made to voters in a last minute pitch to voters on Today this morning.
“It’s an optimistic and positive plan we need now and that’s what Labor is offering,” Andrews told the Today hosts.

Although the polls today are predicting the government will be returned, Andrews admitted it would be close.
“Elections are always close. It’s a handful of votes and a handful of seats,” he said.
Today invited opposition leader Matthew Guy on the program for a last minute pitch too but he declined the request.
