Police are on the hunt for three masked bandits after a bizarre home invasion south of Adelaide.

Detectives say three men dressed in black, and with their faces covered, arrived at the home in Port Noarlunga South about 8.30am on Saturday.

One of the men waited outside the house, while two went in, allegedly armed with capsicum spray and what appeared to be a small bat.

The pair are alleged to have threatened four people inside the home, and assaulted three of them, one of whom was pregnant.

The victims were left with minor injuries.

The men allegedly stole two wallets and a PlayStation 5.

A neighbour heard the commotion and turned on her CCTV camera just in time to capture the suspects making their escape.

In a somewhat bizarre getaway scene, all three of the suspects piled onto the same scooter.

The escape vehicle was a black and white scooter.

In the scooter driver’s attempts to make a quick exit, one of the suspects almost fell off the back of the vehicle.

Police describe the getaway vehicle as a black and silver scooter, similar to a Yamaha NMAX 155.

Anyone who recognises the trio or scooter or has dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
