90 Day Fiancé star Leida Margaretha filed for a legal separation from her husband, Eric Rosenbrook, days after their newborn baby died, Us Weekly can report.

On Monday, July 28, Margaretha, 36, filed a petition for a legal separation after seven years of marriage.

In her filing, obtained by Us, Margaretha listed the date of marriage as July 8, 2018.

She said the marriage was “broken” but said she was asking for a separation and not a divorce to “coordinate marital agreement and discuss spousal support/asset division.”

In her filing, Margaretha said there have been “too many domestic abuse events.” She noted she has a temporary restraining order against Rosenbrook, 47.

As Us previously reported, Rosenbrook was arrested on July 5 over an incident that went down the day before at Margaretha’s apartment, where she had been living since moving out of the home they shared. She told police an argument erupted after she complained about him drinking too much.

Margaretha said Rosenbrook slapped her while she was holding their newborn daughter, Alisa. She said he left the apartment before the police arrived. Officers found Rosenbrook hours later in a parked car.

“Officer Godard asked if anything physical happened between them. After a pause, Eric stated he might’ve slapped her,” court documents read.

He was taken into custody.

Prosecutors charged Rosenbrook with battery and disorderly conduct over the incident. He entered a plea of not guilty to both charges.

In her new filing for legal separation, Margaretha accused her ex of physical and verbal abuse. She requested spousal support in the amount of $7,000 per month. In addition, she asked for all furniture, electronics, a 2018 Audi, a 2011 Chevy Suburban, a 2022 Chevy Corvette and a retirement account.

Margaretha asked that she be awarded a home in Wisconsin. She noted that she is not employed and receives $700 allowance per month from her parents. She said she has $120 in a savings account, $500 in her checking account and $200 in cash.

She noted she filed for divorce in 2024 but dismissed it before it was finalized. She said this was not her first marriage.

Margaretha said she was married to a man named Daniel Walean and their divorce was handled in Indonesia. She said Rosenbrook was previously married to a woman named Tania.

Rosenbrook has yet to respond to the divorce.

When Us asked Rosenbrook for comment on Margaretha’s claims, he denied being physically, emotionally, and mentally abusive.

Rosenbrook added, “I was nothing but supportive of her [of] anything she wanted to do and experience here.”

As Us previously reported, Margaretha and Rosenbook’s newborn baby, daughter Alisa, died on July 8.

Margaretha’s attorney, Taylor Hart, told Us, “Sadly, on July 8, 2025, Alisa Rosenbrook (daughter of Eric and Leida) was removed from life support and passed away. Over the past two years, Leida and her husband tried desperately for a child.”

“They tried, and hoped, and prayed, but they unfortunately suffered many setbacks including multiple miscarriages. The loss of Alisa is a tragedy,” Hart added.“Today, the cause and manner of Alisa’s death are unknown. Leida is extremely distraught and is still seeking answers for herself.”

“There are many allegations of wrongdoing being levied against Leida. This is no surprise as she has endured years of unfounded negative publicity and social media attention since her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé in [2018]. Leida would have never harmed her child and she adamantly denies any allegations of wrongdoing,” he ended.

As Us previously reported, Margaretha was arrested herself on July 17 for charges of bail jumping related to an old criminal case.

In a letter she wrote to the court, Margaretha said the arrest was due to her not updating her address with the court. “This issue has never been [intentional]. I haven’t done that yet just because a few days after I have finally moved and settled in, I lost my child, and since then I haven’t even think about anything other than the death of my child and how devastated I am as a mother.”
