Amanda Holden has teased fans about filming an upcoming project. The Heart FM presenter announced earlier this year that she is hosting a new quiz show, The Inner Circle, due to air on the BBC. The mum-of-two uploaded numerous snaps of herself doing her makeup for film scenes, indicating that the series is firmly underway. In February, she shared a poster on Instagram advertising new contestants to apply to the show. Producers wanted players who were “fun, charismatic, and daring.” The new quiz show involves answering questions and determining who to trust to remain in the competition.

Taking to social media, Amanda wrote, “Filming under way …. Can’t wait for you all to be part of my #innercircle coming soon.” There has not been a confirmed release date for the series, but things with Amanda have clearly been moving rapidly over the last few months.

The filming comes after Amanda returned to her role as a Britain’s Got Talent judge for its 18th series. She landed the role in 2007 and has continued working on the show ever since.

In addition, she also works as a full-time radio presenter on Heart FM on the breakfast slot alongside singer Ashley Roberts. Amanda also recently launched her popular renovation series, ‘Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job’, which has now confirmed its fourth series on BBC iPlayer and it’s due to be filmed next in Greece.

Amanda also embarked on another new project last year, taking on a new Netflix series called Cheaters: Unfinished Business.

With Amanda back on Britain’s Got Talent, it’s not long until the live shows are back on our screens. In recent years Amanda has been known for her bold outfit choices, which have landed her in hot water.

Her most controversial look on the ITV show was a plunging, sheer black Julien Macdonald dress. The frock sparked 633 complaints from viewers, making it the most complained-about TV moment that year.

Many fans of the show labelled the dress ‘unsuitable’ as it aired before the watershed. Speaking after the backlash, Amanda quipped: “It’s been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up.”
