Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has revealed the truth behind her “nude ‘life drawing” stunt which happened on her Heart FM breakfast show earlier this month. The 53-year-old mum of two apparently posed naked while live on air on April 8.
However, during an appearance on Friday’s (April 19) Good Morning Britain, she told hosts Adil Ray and Kate Garraway that things weren’t quite as they seemed. “Was I in the nude? I might have had a little SKIMS…” she laughed referencing Kim Kardashian’s underwear range.
“Do you think I would get my kit off with Jamie Theakston in the studio? In all seriousness,” she enquired. “Well, I don’t know the terms of your contract, to be honest!” Adil joked.
“They ain’t paying me that much! Although, we could discuss it,” Amanda pondered. Chiming in, Kate added: “I’ve been in that studio, it’s very chilly in that studio. You wouldn’t want to be naked, would you?”
“Definitely not, no,” Amanda answered. “It is always flipping cold. What is it with the heating? I think Ashley Tabor[-King] likes to keep us all awake at Global, so the air conditioning’s on full blast in the mornings.”
The stunt saw Amanda strip off to pose for a life drawing class that was taking place in the studio and a video of the event was posted on Amanda’s instagram.
Co-host Jamie prefaced the segment by saying: “We have transformed the Heart studio into an art studio this morning.
“Slightly distracting, Amanda’s in the corner of the studio without any clothes on. A first for… not for her of course,” the 53-year-old jibed. “But certainly for most of us.”
Fellow Heart radio presenter Ashley Roberts, 42, also chimed in and said Amanda was “comfortable” without her clothes.
The clip showed Amanda posing for the life drawing class with London Drawing while appearing to wear nothing but a pair of white heels. Jamie added: “Erm, we’ve all been drawing Amanda.”
After asking to see some of the efforts, the mother-of-two was presented with various portraits of herself and exclaimed: “Oh! That’s not bad at all!”
Afterwards, Jamie could be heard asking Amanda to “put a top on” before the Heart FM team erupted into a fit of laughter.
