Ashley St. Clair claims Elon Musk ‘can’t be counted on’ to act like a father amid paternity dispute

Ashley St. Clair slammed Elon Musk as an absent father after she filed a paternity lawsuit against the tech billionaire and requested full custody of their alleged child.

“This has never been about money for Ashley,” a spokesperson for the “Elephants Are Not Birds (Freedom Island)” author told People Tuesday.

“This is about protecting the best interests of Ashley and Elon’s child from a man who can’t be counted on to even communicate, much less act consistently in the role of a father.”

Reps for Musk, 53, weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six on Friday, St. Clair filed a lawsuit against the Tesla CEO and alleged they started seeing each other in May 2023.

The 26-year-old claimed they had intercourse around Jan. 2, 2024, which is when she assumes her son was conceived.

St. Clair wrote in the filing that she was certain Musk was the child’s father saying she “did not have sexual intercourse with any other male during the time.”

She also requested the SpaceX CEO undergo DNA testing.

In the documents, St. Clair provided several alleged screenshot messages between herself and Musk, including a text exchange of the latter saying he was looking forward to seeing her and the baby.

She also alleged Musk told her in November 2024, “I want to knock you up again,” and told her as recent as Feb. 2, “Well, we do have a legion of kids to make.”

“I am the only parent to make decisions for R.S.C. I schedule and take him to all his medical appointments,” St. Clair wrote in the filing.

“I am the only parent who cares for him on a daily basis. I feed him, bathe him and ensure that all his physical and emotional needs are met.”

Earlier this month, St. Clair first alleged that she and Musk welcomed a child together five months ago.

Musk hasn’t spoken out or responded to the allegations.

If the X owner and St. Clair share a child, he would have 13 children in total.
