While the news that Diddy Combs had his houses raided might have been a shock to a lot of people, it wasn’t to Aubrey O’Day. The Destiny Kane musician has known the rapper for a long time, and sadly wasn’t surprised to hear where the accusations against him had led.

She rose to fame when she formed Destiny Kane in Diddy MTV show Making the Band, and used this opportunity to remind people that she and her bandmates had warned them about it. “Respectfully, I’ve been telling y’all this for 2 decades and did anyone listen? No.

What you sow, you shall reap,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured.”

While Diddy Combs’ legal team are saying that the raid was a rushed decision influenced by the media, but Aubrey O’Day doesn’t agree with that statement. “There is no ‘too soon’ on this one, just ‘too late.’

Not long ago, she had revealed that the rapper had asked her to sign an NDA in exchange for royalties, which she refused, and advised other former clients to do the same.

“So what’s happening is, artists — some of them, not all of them — are being given streaming royalties and ownership back over our publishing on songs that we wrote at a time when you know that you have to stream a song a million times to make a cent. It’s hundreds of dollars,” she explained. “And me, as somebody that’s a girl’s girl, I hit everyone in my group and said, ‘Absolutely do not take this deal. I can get us a show on Hulu right now.'”

As more and more people start to question Diddy Combs’ behavior and appear disappointed and upset by the recent developments, the rapper and his legal team continue to strongly deny the horrifying allegations against him.

His attorney, Aaron Dyer, made a statement the day after his properties were raided in a Homeland Security Investigation, calling the actions against him a “witch hunt.”

Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” said his lawyer. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.” In addition, he said the rapper “was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities.”

This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,” Aaron Dyer concluded. “There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”
