Bridget Moynahan gave a special nod to her former partner, Tom Brady, in a heartfelt Instagram post celebrating their son Jack’s high school graduation.
“So proud of our boy Jack,” the 55-year-old actress shared with her followers on Sunday. “We are all excited to see what you do next!” she exclaimed, capturing the pride and anticipation of a parent watching their child step into a new chapter.
Adding a personal touch, the “Sex and the City” star tagged Brady in her post and wrapped it up with the hashtag “#proudparents,” highlighting their unified support despite their past relationship.
The post also included a touching group photo featuring the 18-year-old graduate flanked by his smiling parents, a testament to their continued bond as a family.
Over the weekend, Brady himself expressed his admiration for Jack, calling him “the most precious young man” in the comments. He also shared the same celebratory image in his own Instagram post on Saturday, further showcasing their shared pride.
“One of the proudest days of my life, watching Jack walk across the stage, and graduate into the next chapter of what’s already an impressive life,” the retired athlete, 48, began his Instagram tribute. “You are an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend amongst many other things.”
The seven-time Super Bowl winner went on to praise who the teenager is “when no one is watching” him.
“What makes me happiest is … the way you show up for your friends. The way you check on people having a hard day,” Brady wrote. “The love you give our family, and the fact that you still let me win in 1v1 every once in a while.
“This isn’t an ending. It’s a starting line,” he continued. “Whatever you chase next we know you’ll find success in. Take the risks. Be kind. Be yourself.”
The ex-quarterback finished by reminding Jack his “family and friends are always right behind [him] cheering the loudest because [he does] the same for everybody else!”
Brady concluded, “We love you ❤️❤️❤️.”
He and Moynahan conceived Jack before their three-year relationship ended in late 2006.
By the time Moynahan found out she was expecting, Brady was in a relationship with his now-ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen.
Brady and the “Blue Bloods” star have since co-parented their son while moving on separately.
Moynahan wed Andrew Frankel in 2015, while Brady was married to Bündchen for more than a decade — and welcomed two more children — before they divorced in 2022.
In 2019, Moynahan gushed to People about the group’s amicable dynamic raising Jack together.
“We both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own,” she explained to the outlet at the time. “I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love.”
