Jamie Laing has unveiled an unexpected revelation regarding the household regulations put in place by his wife, Sophie Habboo, as they gear up for the arrival of their first child.
The 36-year-old Made In Chelsea alum and his 31-year-old spouse Sophie shared the exciting news of their pregnancy back in June.
Since then, they have been candidly documenting their journey towards parenthood.
Recently, Jamie disclosed one of the stringent guidelines Sophie has set as they prepare their home for the baby’s arrival.
During an appearance on his BBC Radio 1 show on Wednesday, he remarked, “Let me tell you something quite peculiar – we’ve just moved into a new house, which is thrilling, and my pregnant wife has imposed this new house rule.”

‘I really don’t like it and I pretend at home that I like it but I don’t.’
Revealing what has been grating him, Jamie shared: ‘The rule is this, I have outdoor clothes and indoor clothes.Â
‘So when I go out the house, I have to wear my outdoor clothes and when I come back in the house, I have to change into my indoor clothes so I don’t make anything messy.
‘One time she caught me like a rat running upstairs in my outside clothes.’Â
His radio co-star, Katie Thistleton, questioned him about how the logistics would work as he explained: ‘I come in and I get naked.’
Katie tried to reason with Jamie, as she quipped: ‘Let’s blame the hormones.’Â
However, Jamie admitted he felt he might have gone a step too far with his confession and worried that Sophie would find out.Â
‘I am scared if she is listening. I just want everyone to know I love, love wearing indoor clothes,’ he joked.

She confessed that when her second trimester hit, she felt like she was ‘dying’ and was dealing with a lot of hormones that made her frequently feel irritated.
‘This girl has gone from a bit of a b***h to don’t come near me,’ she quipped.
‘Up until week eight, I was smooth sailing. No good aversions, no sickness, so much energy, I was like what is every talking about this is unbelievable.
‘Week eight hit and everyone’s starting to grate to me a bit. Like that man sat next to me on the plane breathing, like is it illegal if I punch him in the face?’
