Brooklyn Beckham has stepped up to defend his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, against online criticism.
At 27, Brooklyn took to Instagram on Tuesday, August 25, sharing a video of himself crafting a cottage pie. However, the wholesome post was met with an unkind comment about Nicola’s appearance, stating, “Do you comment on everyone who is concerned about your wife and how sickly she looks? She puts herself out there; feed her.”
Not one to hold back, Brooklyn addressed the unnecessary critique, firmly responding, “Don’t ever talk about my wife. She’s absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body.” He further condemned the comment as “disgraceful.”
Brooklyn and Nicola, 31, began their romantic journey in 2019. Just after six months of dating, Brooklyn proposed to the model. Their love story led them to a beautiful wedding ceremony in Florida, April 2022, with a vow renewal following in August 2025.
Earlier this year, it was reported by People that Nicola underwent a “physical transformation and intense workout regimen” for her upcoming role as Margo in the film Prima. In this role, she portrays a ballerina raised by her grandmother.
She later opened up to Elle about the role in March, saying, “I’m a huge fan of [director] Ryan [Murphy] and his worlds. I dreamed of working with him.”

She continued, “When he called and explained that I was going to play the younger version of Isabella Rossellini, I was incredibly excited. I received the script, but I only got to read my episode. So Brooklyn and I watched the series at home when it premiered. And we were blown away!” (A release date for the film has not yet been announced.)
She also got candid about being in the spotlight and trying to brush off the negative comments about herself. “I’m very sensitive, and I need to work on not reading everything: online news, social media comments,” she explained. “I try not to pay attention to what people say, but it affects me. I need to learn to distance myself.”
