Bunnie Xo Defends Herself Against Body-Shaming Amid IVF Weight Gain

Bunnie Xo is addressing critics who have targeted her weight gain amid her IVF process.

On the July 7 episode of her podcast “Dumb Blonde,” Bunnie, aged 46, candidly shared her experience: “As I was going through IVF, it put weight on me, and people would comment, saying things like, ‘Oh, she’s bigger than her husband now.’” She pointed out the absurdity of such remarks, especially considering she was in the process of trying to create life.

The media producer expressed her frustration, adding, “It’s like people just have no respect. The internet is just so crazy.” This comment underscores the all-too-common reality of the online sphere, where criticisms often overshadow understanding and empathy.

Despite the negativity, Bunnie has adopted a resilient approach to dealing with the backlash.

“I’ve learned that it’s just miserable people who have nothing better to do than just comment on other people’s lives,” she explained, highlighting a critical truth about online commentators. “So, you can’t ever let that get to you.” Her words offer a reminder to focus on the positive amid the noise and continue prioritizing one’s own well-being over others’ unsolicited opinions.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO

Bunnie Xo offered unfiltered insight into how her sex life with husband Jelly Roll improved after his weight loss journey. “We always had a sex life, but there were mountains and valleys that we had to go through — especially when he was so big,” Bunnie Xo, 46, exclusively told Us Weekly about her memoir, […]

Bunnie revealed in June 2024 that she and her now-estranged husband, Jelly Roll, had decided to pursue IVF. Though Jelly, 41, filed for divorce in May after 10 years of marriage, Bunnie has shared that she and her ex still hope to have a baby together.

“You guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby,” she said on her podcast in June. “We’re going to coparent together. I’m so excited to live my life through a child’s eyes, which is why, with this baby journey, I’m not going to let it break me. And I’m not going to detour it. J has been so great about us still having a baby together, and he wants the same thing.”

Jelly is already a father to daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah, 9, from previous relationships.

During Tuesday’s podcast episode, Bunnie shared an update on how IVF has affected her body amid her struggle with endometriosis.

Bunnie Xo Quotes About Facelift

Bunnie Xo is doing what she does best — keeping it 100 percent real. Jelly Roll’s wife has taken fans along for every raw and unfiltered moment of her facelift journey, from the nervous pre-surgery announcement to the brutal recovery that left her comparing herself to comedian Bert Kreischer. “It’s a privilege to be able […]

“My stomach after I did the IVF — you have to pump yourself full of estrogen and all these hormones — so the endometriosis just fed off of that,” she explained. “My lower stomach would pooch out. It looked like I was, like, three months pregnant, and it would not go away. The only thing that took it away was microdosing the GLP-1.”

Bunnie insisted that her focus was never on losing weight while taking a GLP-1.

“We’re really trying to get our bodies in check and in order,” she continued. “And getting the inflammation down is probably the number one thing that could do for your body. It’s not just about losing weight or taking a shortcut. It’s about literally trying to help yourself and help yourself feel better.”
