Claudia Oshry opened up about her journey with her body after childbirth.
On Monday, December 15, Oshry, 31, shared on Instagram her decision to resume weight loss medication following the birth of her son in May 2025 with her husband, Ben Soffer.
In the video, the host of the “Toast” podcast humorously reached into her fridge, pulling out a head of cabbage, which she placed over her chest. Cabbage is known to help dry up milk during the weaning process and alleviate pain and swelling.
She then proceeded to take out Zepbound, uncapped the syringe, and administered the injection.
“WAR IS OVER,” she captioned the post. Her celebrity friends supported her in the comments section.
“So excited for you,” Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Ngatikaura wrote. Her sister Margo Oshry added, “Lfgggg,” while blogger Rach Moon commented, “Yasssss lesss go 🔥.”
Claudia has been candid about using weight loss drugs in the past. In April 2024, she got real about her Ozempic journey, telling Page Six that she lost over 70 pounds on the injection.
“I feel good,” she gushed. “I think when I was on Ozempic, my biggest fear was being off of it. People would always ask, ‘Well, what are you going to do?’” She added that she would tell others that she would “figure it out.”
“This idea of the day I get off Ozempic was always like, a scary thing for me,” Claudia explained, sharing that she was able to keep the weight off. “It was something I always thought about, but I was just trying to focus on my journey at the time.”
She continued, “I was the least likely to end up this way. I had a very bad case of whatever it was, of laziness, of obesity, of poor choices, of really [a] lack of willpower. So I feel … proud of myself.”
Claudia, who began taking Ozempic in 2022, also told the publication, “I think a lot of people’s weight can affect them in their relationships, at their job. They’re afraid to take risks.”
While she shared that she doesn’t “feel any different” about herself with her weight loss, Claudia gushed over her increase in energy.
“It’s one of the best feelings,” she praised. “I didn’t even know how different my life could be.”
Claudia announced that she gave birth to her son on May 24. In the pic, she posed with her newborn in the hospital.
“Things I did? That,” she captioned the post, adding a blue heart emoji. Claudia also shared a video of her in the hospital preparing to welcome her little one. Soffer, 33, sweetly gave her a kiss on her forehead while she got a C-section.
Claudia later shared that her son’s name is Reuben, and that she gave birth on May 21. Celebrities congratulated her in the comments section.
“😍🥹 beautiful in every way,” Kelsea Ballerini wrote. Stassi Schroeder added, “Ahhhhh this all couldn’t get any more perfect. And the NAME!!!!! 😍😍😍.”
