Ellen DeGeneres tried poking fun at her guest, Martha Stewart however, it seems Stewart had the perfect response. Sometimes while talking to celebrities, interviewers will have some fun with their guests.
They might make a couple of jokes, or ask celebrities questions about their lives while talking to them. Some celebrities have surprised audiences with their humorous responses.
Ellen DeGeneres is a talk show host known for having fun with her guests. She would also tease them a little every once in a while for fun, maybe taking things too far sometimes. However, when Ellen DeGeneres tried poking fun a Martha Stewart, it seems Stewart is the one who had the funnier response. Martha Stewart responded perfectly when Ellen DeGeneres tried poking fun at her guest.

Sometimes, when interviewers are talking to and joking with celebrities, things can take a wrong turn causing celebrities to get angry or even walk out. However, many interviewers will ask celebrities about upcoming projects, and joke around while they talk to their guests. Some hosts and interviewers are known to let loose a little more than others.
When Ellen DeGeneres would interview her guests, she seemed to enjoy speaking with them, and sometimes enjoyed having fun with them. On one show, featuring guests Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg and Anna Kendrick she had her guests play a game of “Never Have I Ever”.
According to Cheatsheet.com, Ellen seemed surprised by one of her guests’ answers. Ellen announced to the three, “Never have I ever sexted”, which she read from a card. All three guests answered they had.
Kendrick responded, “Oh my god I’m so glad I’m here today”, while grinning over at Stewart. DeGeneres seemed a bit more surprised by Stewart’s response, and even threw in a joke.
DeGeneres said, “Martha? You’ve sexted? Do you know what that is?” However, Martha wasn’t thrown off one bit and came back with a perfect response.
Martha Stewart Had The Perfect Response To Ellen’s Joke
Although interviewers have been known to go over the line from time to time, celebrities can say some surprising things when they talk to interviewers, whether the interview is live or taped. Often, when interviewers are joking around with celebrities, they can get them to admit to some pretty interesting facts about their personal lives.
Some interviewers, such as Ellen DeGeneres, have been known to keep things light and have fun with their guests to get them to open up more. Ellen would even play certain games with her guests to keep everyone laughing.
While playing “Never Have I Ever”, during a segment with guests Snoop Dogg, Anna Kendrick and Martha Stewart, Ellen asked the question: “Have you ever sexted?” All of her guests answered yes. One of them seemed to surprise the talk show host.

According to Yahoo!, Ellen DeGeneres asked Martha Stewart if she “knows what that is”. The Martha Stewart Show host had the perfect response for Ellen.
Stewart replied, “I have used technology for a lot longer than you have, Ellen”. Ellen responded, “Alright”, but didn’t really seem to believe what she was hearing. Continuing, DeGeneres said, “Yow! To who! Is it someone current or is this a while ago?”
Stewart answered, reminding Ellen her private life is her own. She stated, “It doesn’t say ‘none of your business'”.
The jokes continued throughout the game according to cheatsheet.com, as Ellen asked more questions, such as if anyone had ever been to a nude beach. Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart responded they had. DeGeneres and Kendrick said they had never been to one. This caused Stewart to ask, “Haven’t you been to Sand Beach at St. Bart’s?”
To this, DeGeneres replied, “No”, adding, “With that same person you sexted?” This caused Stewart to laugh, but she didn’t name names!
Martha Stewart Has Also Revealed The Reason Behind Her Breakup With Anthony Hopkins On The Ellen DeGeneres Show
Sometimes celebrities will reveal surprising facts about themselves during live or taped interviews. Some might get frustrated and storm out due to certain questions or comments.
While appearing as a guest on another episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Martha Stewart played another game during the episode in which she revealed an interesting truth about herself. Specifically, a truth about her relationship with Anthony Hopkins.
According to Today, while playing “Two Truths and a Lie”, Stewart revealed her reason for her breakup with Anthony Hopkins. She stated, “I dated Sir Anthony Hopkins, but I broke up with him because I couldn’t stop thinking of him as Hannibal Lector.”
Stewart stated, “I have a big, scary house in Maine that’s way by itself on a hundred acres in a forest and I couldn’t even imagine taking Anthony Hopkins there. I couldn’t because all I could think of was him eating, you know…” She didn’t finish the sentence, but it appears she was referring to his character being a cannibal in the film Silence of the Lambs.
When Ellen asked if Martha Stewart really broke off her relationship with Anthony Hopkins because of a movie role, Stewart responded, “yeah.”
Stewart also discussed her relationship with Hopkins during an appearance on “The Meredith Vieira Show”, stating “I went out to dinner with him a couple of times but all I could think of was Hannibal Lector.”
