Ellie Leach enjoyed a girls night out with a number of Strictly stars following her reported “split” from Bobby Brazier. The former Corrie actress headed out for a meal with fellow 2023 contestants Nikita Kanda and Zara McDermott.
The group shared some adorable snaps on Instagram, with Ellie beaming alongside Zara at a dinner table and in another image posed for a mirror selfie alongside Nikita in a bathroom.
Zara added the caption “my girl” as she flashed a smile alongside Ellie, who wore a pastel shirt over a pink top. She captioned her second photo with the word “sisters” as the group tucked into their meal.
The reunion comes after Ellie reportedly “split” from EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier. Both Ellie and Bobby appeared on Strictly Come Dancing as celebrity contestants and made it all the way to the final.
It was reported that the pair called it quits just six weeks after the live tour finished. However, it’s also said that they hope to remain close friends.
A source told The Sun: “Love blossomed between them when they were in close quarters on the tour, but once that ended they both spent much less time together. That gave them space to think about the future, which is likely to take them in very different directions over the coming year or two.
“They decided the best thing to do was quit while they were ahead and while they were still pals, because they both really cherish the friendship they have.”
Express.co.uk have previously contacted Ellie and Bobby’s representatives for comment.
Bobby has previously denied any romantic connection with Ellie. In February, he was quizzed about his Valentine’s Day plans and told OK! Magazine: “No, no, not yet. Maybe I will. If someone asked me out…” He then spoke about Ellie and said: “She is a lovely lovely friend of mine.”
Meanwhile, Ellie split up with her partner Reagan Pettman last year after five years together before she competed on Strictly. She previously told The Mirror that she joined Strictly at the “perfect time”.
“Being cheated on was upsetting, but now’s the perfect time to put my all into Strictly and give that 500 per cent,” she said. She first got together with dancer Reagan back in 2018 but it was reported in May that the pair had called it quits.
