Gemma Arterton Children: Meet Her First Child
According to Gemma Arterton, her first kid was born in December.
The actor and Peaky Blinders co-star Rory Keenan’s baby son, who was born just before Christmas, is their first child.
The actress’ pregnancy announcement, which surfaced back in November, was quickly followed by the unexpected birth announcement.
Gemma, who is well-known for her work as a Bond girl and for roles in blockbuster movies like St. Trinian’s, was able to keep her major news a secret for eight months prior to her red carpet-debut.
The 37-year-old actress made her pregnancy known by showing off her growing baby bump at the Raindance Film Festival awards ceremony in November.
Rumors that she was pregnant began to circulate a month earlier after photos emerged of her smilingly touching her rounded stomach while conversing with a friend in London.
Prior to those photos, Gemma, who does not use social media, had not been seen since May 2022, when she appeared on the red carpet in London for Sky.
Work kept the celebrity busy between May and October; she spent a significant portion of the summer and the time before giving birth filming her next movie The Critic.
The period thriller starring Ian McKellen and Mark Strong started filming in London in June and wrapped late last year in time for a 2023 release date.
After confirming her pregnancy in her first public appearance in months in November, and stepping out with her husband days later, Gemma once again retreated from the spotlight to focus on the birth.
She was back out and about this week on the promo trail for her new Sky series Funny Woman, where she plays a beauty queen seeking TV fame.
And it was her appearance on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show where she chose to reveal the exciting news of her son’s birth.

Who Is Gemma Arterton?
Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress and producer who was born on February 2, 1986. Arterton made her feature film debut in the comedy St Trinian’s after making her stage debut in Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost at the Globe Theatre in 2007. (2007). She received the Empire Award for Best Newcomer for her portrayal of Bond Girl Strawberry Fields in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace (2008).

Arterton, is a welder, and her mother, Sally-Anne Heap, owns a cleaning company. Arterton was raised by her mother and younger sister, Hannah Arterton, who is also an actor, in a council estate after her parents split when she was a little girl.
