Former couple Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin came together to honor their daughter, Apple Martin, on her college graduation day.
The family, including their son Moses, was captured in photos celebrating Apple’s achievement in Nashville, where she received her degree from Vanderbilt University on Friday.
Chris Martin, the 49-year-old lead singer of āColdplay,ā sported a sleek all-black outfit as he strolled through campus alongside Moses. The 20-year-old donned a light blue shirt paired with gray trousers, accessorizing with a white sweater draped around his waist.
Paltrow added a splash of color to the occasion, wearing a vibrant red sweater over a light blue maxi dress.
Images showed the āIron Manā star, 53, walking arm-in-arm with her husband, Brad Falchuk, while Apple, adorned in her cap and gown, walked on her other side.
Apple looked like her motherās twin as she carried a bouquet of white roses in her arms that matched the white dress she wore under her gown. She completed her look with a pair of black kitten heels.
Chris and Paltrow famously decided to āconsciously uncoupleā in 2014 after more than a decade of marriage.
Theyāve since maintained a friendly relationship as co-parents over the years, with Paltrow even calling her ex ālike [her] brother.ā
Last week, the 21-year-old grad shared a collection of graduation photos to her Instagram that showed her wearing a white cotton Vivienne Westwood dress ($1,020) and black ballet flats.
While itās not considered a strict tradition, white is a common color for grads to wear as it symbolizes new beginnings.
Also among the carousel of snapshots were pictures of Apple posing around her college with her friends ā lying on leather couches, modeling in the library, and posing with her besties, all in caps and gowns and various white dresses.
āA bittersweet moment. How lucky we are to have these memories ā¤ļø,ā she captioned an Instagram post
