Kyle Richards got her start in acting at a very young age alongside her sister Kim on the set of Little House on the Prairie. However, she is most famous for her role in the reality television series Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where episodes chronicle the life of wives that live in lavish environments with wealthy husbands.
As one of the original cast members, Kyle was also joined by her sisters, including Kathy, who is married to the Hilton heir Richard Hilton and mother to Paris and Nicky.
Fans state that they appreciate Richards’ honesty in the series and that her candor gives them true insight into her life. In interviews, Richard has said that one should never be anything but themselves when starring on reality television, and she holds herself to that philosophy.
Because of Richards’ success on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, many forget that she was once much more prevalent in traditional acting roles, in which she still takes part today.

Did Kyle Richards Just Come From Money?
Many fans believe that the two must have descended from money because Kyle Richards is the sister of Kathy Hilton. However, while her father, Ken Richards, was a wealthy business executive and former army lieutenant, his money isn’t the reason for Kyle’s financial success today.
According to the book House of Hiltons, the mother of both Kyle and Kathy, whose name was Kathleen and who went by Big Kathy, encouraged all three of her daughters to marry wealthy men. She reportedly pushed her children into acting from a young age, with Kyle getting her start at just five years old, Kathy at two, and Kim at four months old in a diaper ad.

Later in her childhood, Kyle Richards’ parents separated and entered into a presumably tumultuous court battle over finances and their children’s acting careers. With her mother and father now deceased, it is unknown whether a hefty inheritance was left.
However, it was revealed on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that Kyle was given her parents’ Los Angeles home once her mother passed.
Being that it was drilled into her from a young age, Kyle first married at just 18 years old. Her husband, Guraish Aldjufrie, is an Indonesian business executive specializing in real estate.
When that marriage sizzled, Richards didn’t venture too far. She then married Mauricio Umansky, who is also an executive in real estate brokering and has sold over $5 billion in properties during his time in the industry.
Where Did Kyle Richards Get Her Money From?
Although many fans believe that the bulk of her income is from the success of her reality show, it must be remembered that Kyle Richards had a lucrative acting career before getting married and starring on the show.
Furthermore, she and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, are very active in real estate. Between renting and selling their homes, the couple allegedly brought in a considerable amount of shared income.
In addition to acting, Richards has pursued other passions throughout the years. As a result, she launched a clothing line with HSN in 2014 and went on to star in New York Fashion Week with her designs. Later she opened a line of clothing boutiques throughout the United States, including multiple high-end establishments on the East Coast.
While outside sources of income are available to Richards, she doesn’t rely solely on them for her day-to-day living. Although she didn’t decide to enter the entertainment industry for herself, the work brought her a healthy bank account, allowing her to branch off in other directions, like real estate and fashion.
