The wife of Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, appeared in the 2015 smash hit Magic Mike XXL. She worked with Channing Tatum at the time, among many other irresistible men she couldn’t help but find appealing.
However, there were points in Tatum’s popular film where Smith realized she was getting a little too close to one of those guys.
The actress had to apologize to her co-star for her actions after coming to this realization. The fact that he didn’t sue her for it was a relief to her.
Jada Pinkett-Smith Thought About “Procreating” With The Men On The Set Of Magic Mike XXL
In Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike XXL, Smith portrayed the role of the club’s owner. Because it was a film about male strippers, several of the men dressed provocatively. Smith had a hard time preventing her gaze from drifting because of this.
“So, I walk on my set for the first time, my club, and at my club, it’s just chocolate tastiness,” she said on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “It’s just 10, 11…12 chocolate men getting greased down by the makeup department. And literally, I walked on the set, and my knee buckled.”
She said that she was experiencing some degree of temptation at the time.
“And for the first time in my life, that other head below, started talking to me. ‘Procreate, procreate, procreate, procreate,” Smith added. “My top head was like, ‘Jada, there is not a Will Smith on this set; you can’t procreate with nobody.’”
Smith refrained from giving in to her fleeting emotions. Nonetheless, there was that one time when she had to publicly apologize to a co-star for being overly affectionate.
Jada Pinkett-Smith Had To Apologize For Getting Too Touchy With Matt Bomer On Magic Mike XXL
With regard to Matt Bomer, Smith freely stated that she gave in to temptation a little bit. In particular, Smith noticed Bomer, who also appeared in Magic Mike XL. She was so enamored with him that she could barely resist touching him. Given that Jada felt forced to marry her husband, her wandering eye makes sense.
“I was so glad that he didn’t sue me for sexual harassment,” Smith mentioned in On Air with Ryan Seacrest. “Because every time I saw Matt, my first thing was I put my hand on his chest and rub his chest and say, ‘Hey, Matt!’”
But after thinking about what it might be like if roles were reversed, the actress began to reconsider her actions.
“And I realized… if he did that to me, it’d be a problem,” Smith said. “So I really had to take a day and apologize. I was like, ‘You know, I realize every time I see you, I touch your chest, and that’s just not right, and I’m sorry. I am sorry.’”
Thankfully, Bomer seemed completely unfazed by the situation.
Smith plays a strip club owner and emcee in Magic Mike XXL, a part that was created for a man. She explained that her character and Tatum’s Magic Mike have a past together, which makes it awkward when he comes to her for help.
We know it was equally awkward off-set.

Jada Pinkett-Smith Had A Blast With Matt Bomer On The Set Of Magic Mike XXL
Whether it’s lap dances or biceps, it’s evident that Jada Pinkett-Smith, Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, and Matt Bomer have been having a blast off-screen.
Jada recently admitted that she could relate to her husband Will Smith’s tendency to stray, but she and her gorgeous co-star Matt Bomer proved that the two could play at that game.
“I just went to watch his rehearsal because I found out how well he sings, and the director was like yeah, come over here, come sit in this chair right here. So I’m sitting there, and he comes up, and he starts his routine, and he comes over to me, and we have a little special moment.”
Not everyone on site was as immune to Bomer’s charms. Tatum took to Reddit to share with his devoted fanbase why Bomer has him so awestruck.
Constantly seeking to satisfy his audience, Channing participated in a Reddit thread and fielded a variety of questions, including one from a sarcastic user who wanted to know if he ever got disoriented staring into co-star Matt Bomer’s eyes.
“No matter if you’re a man, woman, cat, hamster, you will get lost in Matt Bomer’s eyes,” Channing responded.
“I don’t know what they are made of outside of dreams and rainbows and amazingness, but it truly doesn’t matter. And when he sings, it’s like God gave with both hands and then grew a third hand and graced him with more. He’s crazy talented.”
Bomer may have been too handsome, leading to an overwhelming desire on the part of his coworkers to touch him and publicly love on him.
Jada Pinkett-Smith Would Rather Willow Smith Watch Magic Mike XXL Than Content On The Internet
Magic Mike XXL has explicit content, hence its R rating. Smith stated in an interview with Power 105 FM that the movie was almost labeled NC-17 before a sequence with Michael Strahan was cut.
“We were screening the movie, and they were like, ‘You have to just wait because we have to tone Michael’s scene down—at one particular point in time, I think it was an NC-17 rating!” she said. “I was like, ‘What? I’m a grown woman. I can watch that!'”
The actress made a quip that Magic Mike XXL is “Disneyland compared to what kids are seeing on the Internet.”
“When I’m sitting with Willow and going through the Tumblr feed, she always tells me, she’s like, ‘Mom, this is not me, it’s a feed, I’m not in control of this!'” Smith said. “And the stuff that I see comes through there, I’m like, I cannot believe children are exposed to this stuff.”
“It’s crazy,” she said, joking around, “So Magic Mike, in my eyes, I would prefer Willow to see that!” When her mother is feeling vulnerable, Willow steps in to protect her, and vice versa. Yet there are always a few outliers.
On the other hand, she probably wouldn’t want Willow to witness the incident that nearly resulted in a lawsuit against her.
