Jana Wissmann (née Duggar) and her husband, Stephen Wissmann, enjoyed some downtime together in Hawaii and the newlyweds shared one of their favorite moments from the trip with fans.
The former Counting On star, 35, shared a carousel of videos and pictures on Instagram that showed her and Stephen, 31, taking a helicopter ride to see the beautiful sights in Kauai, Hawaii on March 8.
“Flying over Kauai, Hawaii, was an incredible experience!” Jana captioned the set of photos and video clips. “Soaring through the skies and soaking in the breathtaking views from the helicopter was truly an adventure of a lifetime!”
Jana and Stephen had known each other for years, and in July 2024, rumors began swirling that she was engaged when fans spotted her wearing what looked like an engagement ring.
Stephen and Jana kept their romance under the radar until it was revealed that they had officially tied the knot on August 15, 2024. The couple wed in a ceremony held at The Grand at Willow Springs in Arkansas, which was approximately 30 minutes away from the Duggar family farm.
Jana and Stephen said their vows in front of 500 family and friends, and Jana’s sister Jessa Duggar Seewald stood beside her as her maid of honor. Her bridesmaids included her sisters Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah Duggar, Jinger Duggar Vuolo, Jordyn Duggar and sister-in-law Abbie Duggar.
“I think it is one of those things that all girls envision someday. For me it felt like, ‘OK, it’s never coming,’” Jana later told People before her wedding day. “But now it’s starting to sink in. Reality is starting to set in. And I’m like, ‘Wow, this is truly something that I’ve dreamed of.’”
After they married, Stephen and the 19 Kids and Counting alum packed up and moved up north to a newly renovated home in Nebraska.

“I’m so gonna miss being close to family,” Jana previously admitted in a vlog that was shot before her wedding and posted via YouTube on October 9, 2024.
In the footage, Jessa’s young daughter was seen taking a piece of candy from a bowl in Jana’s house.
Jana continued, “And especially moments like this — my nieces and nephews popping over for a visit.”
The eldest Duggar daughter had spent time in Nebraska working on “house projects” prior to her wedding, but she said she made sure to spend time with her relatives ahead of her big move.
“Though I’m so excited to be getting married and starting this new life with Stephen, I know I’m really going to miss having my family close by,” Jana explained to viewers. “Right now, while I’m back in Arkansas, it makes me really want to be intentional and to make some fun memories with my family and soak up these final weeks here.”
Later on in October 2024, some of Jana’s sisters made their way to Nebraska to spend time with her, and she was excited to host them at her new home.
“Having family in town always makes things more enjoyable!” Jana wrote alongside some images she shared of their time together via Instagram. “I had a wonderful time with my sisters as we worked together on our house. We spent countless hours painting the walls and ceilings, along with tackling other projects.”
