Jennifer Fessler recently showcased the results of her cosmetic surgery, which included a nose job and facelift, reflecting a growing trend among individuals over 40 seeking plastic surgery.

Fessler, the 55-year-old star of Real Housewives of New Jersey, opted for the procedures to achieve a more youthful appearance. She consulted with Dr. Sam Rizk, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon with over 25 years of expertise. In a magazine feature, she shared insights into her decision to undergo surgery.

A headline in a collaborative post by Allure and Dr. Rizk on Instagram, dated December 23, posed the question: “Would You Get a Nose Job in Your 50s?” The post highlighted the increasing trend of combining nose jobs with facelifts.

The accompanying caption detailed, “When Jennifer Fessler from The Real Housewives of New Jersey approached Dr. Sam Rizk in New York City for a deep plane facelift at age 54, she also requested a nose job. Fessler noted that while her nose had always been prominent, it once felt proportional. However, she noticed a shift as she entered her 50s.”

In the caption, the message continued, “When Jennifer Fessler of The Real Housewives of New Jersey saw New York City facial plastic surgeon Dr. Sam Rizk for a deep plane facelift at 54, she had one more request: a nose job. Fessler says her nose had always been somewhat prominent, but it felt proportional. Something changed as she entered her 50s, though.”

Looking back at the moments leading up to her surgery, Jennifer said, “I felt like my nose was spreading across my face, and I just couldn’t get a good picture … All I could see was jowls, neck, and nose.”

While Jennifer wanted more definition, she didn’t want a little button nose.

“My nose is still, you know, when I say big, I don’t mean it in a bad way,” she explained. “It just is — I have big features, so it fits.”

In the article for Allure, Jennifer continued to open up about her surgery, saying that she “breezed through” the recovery and “was out a week and a half later at a Super Bowl party.”

Jennifer also posted the IG pics on her Story, thanking her doctor as she showed off her before and after pics with her fans and followers.

Jennifer Fessler has been featured on The Real Housewives of New Jersey since season 13. No word yet on whether she’ll return for the series’ upcoming 15th season.
