Ever since she landed the role of Rachel Green in Friends, fans have loved Jennifer Aniston. And many celebrities have followed suit. For instance, her The Bounty Hunter (2010) co-star Gerard Butler once admitted that Aniston is a great kisser, far better than Angelina Jolie. And Jolie’s ex Billy Bob Thornton has revealed that his “lifelong goal” is to have a relationship with the actress.

Over the years, Aniston has managed to appear in many popular movies and build a massive $300 million net worth. Despite her success, there are many people who simply don’t like her. Some celebrities have even gone as far as admitting their dislike for the Friends actress in interviews! For instance, Kristen Stewart once made some remarks about Jennifer Aniston’s career that made it clear she is not a big fan of hers.

Although Her Parents Are Well-Known Actors, Jennifer Aniston Had To Work Hard For Her Career

Not many people know that Jennifer Aniston could be considered a nepo baby. Her parents are John Aniston and Nancy Dow, both professional actors. Her father is best known for portraying Victor Kiriakis on the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives, while her mother appeared in many television shows, including The Beverly Hillbillies.

Despite her parents’ career, Aniston had to work hard to break into Hollywood. She began her career working in off-Broadway productions, while also working part-time jobs, such as telemarketer, waitress, and bike messenger, to pay the bills. Then, in 1988, she got her first acting gig with an uncredited role in the film Mac and Me.

In 1990, after moving to L.A., she obtained her first regular television role on Molloy and Ferris Bueller, a television adaptation of the popular 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, but both series were canceled shortly. In the following years, Aniston starred in the made-for-television film Camp Cucamonga (1990), and the horror film Leprechaun (1993). In 2014, the actress admitted that her role in this horror movie is her worst to this day.

After starring in more failed TV shows, Aniston finally got her big break when she landed the role of Rachel Green on Friends with the help of NBC executive Warren Littlefield. Originally, producers wanted Aniston to play Monica Geller, but ultimately Courteney Cox got that role and Aniston went on to play Rachel on Friends’ 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004. This role helped her get her big break and amass a significant net worth. Additionally, her role in Friends earned her multiple Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild awards.

The Cast of Friends Didn’t Really Like Jennifer Aniston In The Beginning

Apparently, when Friends first came out, the cast was rather jealous of Jennifer Aniston. And it all started because the actress received more attention from both fans and the media for the hairstyles and outfits she wore on the show.

“Everyone wanted to interview Jen, and her “Rachel” hair became such a phenomenon that it was the only thing people talked about,” and neither Courteney Cox nor Lisa Kudrow were happy about it. But they weren’t the only ones.

Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Matthew Perry were also allegedly involved in this issue for a while. “The boys gave her a hard time,” a source who worked on the show alleged, adding that the two Matts often “made mean-spirited jokes at Jen’s expense.”

However, things quickly cooled down and the cast members slowly but surely became good friends. It would seem that what finally brought them together was working as a team to negotiate equal salaries of $1 million per episode.

“They eventually realized the whole fame thing was out of their hands, and they grew up and grew closer as a cast.” It would seem that Jennifer Aniston remains good friends with her co-stars to this day.

Kristen Stewart Once Claimed That a Scandal Was What “Made” Jennifer Aniston’s Career

Plenty of fans love Jennifer Aniston. There are also many celebs who’ve loved working and being friends with the actress. But, just like everyone else, Jennifer Aniston is not loved by everybody. In fact, many other actors and celebrities have made their hatred towards the Friends star public.

For instance, Twilight star Kristen Stewart once said that Aniston is only popular because of Angelina Jolie. “If it wasn’t for her bitter rivalry with Angelina, Jen would not be this famous these days at all.” the actress once admitted. Stewart, who’s been accused of bad-mouthing Katy Perry and Jennifer Lawrence in the past, also said she couldn’t “understand why Jen manages to hog the headlines every time with very little effort. She’s not that talented as an actress, nor is she the most beautiful.”

Ever since an anonymous source close to the actress shared Stewart’s bashing comments to the press, the Twilight actress hasn’t apologized for them.
