Kyle Richards expresses her desire to mend fences with Dorit Kemsley, hoping to restore their friendship if she returns for the next season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle also divulged the last time they exchanged words, while discussing a recent disagreement with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.

During the previous season, Kyle’s friendship with Dorit deteriorated amid ongoing tensions. This rift emerged as Dorit grappled with the initial stages of her divorce from PK Kemsley—a close friend of Kyle’s. Simultaneously, Kyle faced her own marital challenges during her separation from Mauricio, although neither couple has taken steps to legally divorce.

At the premiere event for Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, Kyle told Us Weekly, “If I’m coming back [next season], I aim to fix things with Dorit.” Eager to move forward, Kyle hopes to bury past grievances, address unresolved issues, and leave behind any hurt caused by words or actions from the last season.

Kyle claimed she hasn’t heard from the costar. She did, however, reach out to Dorit to “congratulate her” over her book release. “Other than that, no, I haven’t heard from her or anything,” she said.

Kyle claimed that Dorit is still important to her, and she hopes to support her throughout her divorce from PK.

“It’s sad to me because, you know, I did care about her, and I do care about her and her family,” said the star. “I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been much better off leaning on each other.”

Speaking to Virtual Reali-Tea, Kyle shared her reaction to Mauricio and Alexia Umansky filming Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test together.

“My first thought was, ‘I’m going to kill you, Mauricio,’” said Kyle. “I was actually not happy at all. I was so worried about Alexia.”

The competition show is known for its dangerous and grueling challenges.

“I knew that [Mauricio] would do well and whatever, but I was really worried about my daughter, and I didn’t like that she got sucked into that,” Kyle added. “But she was so excited to do it, and she’s the most adventurous like that, like him, where my other girls are more scared, nervous types like me.”

Kyle said she had “a lot of sleepless nights” while Alexia filmed.

“I kept texting the producer saying, ‘Please, I need updates. Just tell me my daughter is okay … Just give me something,’” she explained.
