This episode of Summer House offers a mix of activities: from volunteering efforts to sunny beach outings, and lively dinner gatherings. Amanda has returned for the final weekend of summer, yet her presence seems to disrupt the harmony. She’s uneasy about the budding friendship between West and Ciara, insisting she’d back Ciara if tensions arise again. Meanwhile, when Lindsay starts questioning Amanda and Kyle’s marriage, emotions run high. Kyle, feeling frustrated, accuses Amanda of not contributing enough, leading to a heated argument. In a fit of anger, Kyle storms off, leaving us to ponder whether they should heed Ciara’s advice on taking a break.

Jesse has embarked on a rewarding journey this summer by volunteering at Sunrise Day Camp, a haven for children battling cancer and their siblings. As a cancer survivor himself, Jesse feels a profound connection to the mission.
During this visit, he invites some friends to join him, and it’s heartwarming to witness them engaging with the kids, bringing joy and laughter. Ciara is particularly pleased to be collaborating with West, feeling liberated from the previous tension he caused her.
Jesse opens up about feeling uncertain at the start of summer, hoping to find the right partner (the camera notably shifts to Ciara, adding an awkward touch). He confesses to feeling lonely but acknowledges the importance of self-improvement rather than seeking fulfillment through a relationship.
Jesse shares that he felt a little weird coming into the summer looking for the right person (cue camera panning to Ciara-how awkward), and he admits that he is lonely. Instead of using a relationship to fill his void, he realizes that he needs to work on himself more.
Bailey is holding her It Girl event in celebration of her show turning two years old. It is now her full-time job and has changed her life completely. Levi is her party planner and the girlies trickle in. Amanda chats with Lindsay and Lindsay explains that she was rattled at Carl‘s Soft Bar opening because she was “bombarded” by Carl’s mom, Sharon. I thought Sharon was nothing but nice, but I digress.
The last time she saw Sharon was at her bridal shower and so it brought up a lot of hurt that she caused Lindsay. After all, Sharon did go on national television and say Carl should break up with Lindsay. It’s weird because Carl has a hard time confronting things head on and has yet to address any of that, but Lindsay refuses to continue being the victim.
Ciara, and her Lorax costume, are the first to arrive the Hamptons house. She has plotted a fun little water gun game as the crew arrives and she ambushes Mia and Lindsay first. Lindsay is a helluva recruit, considering she was in ROTC, so KJ and Dara don’t stand a chance the second they walk through the door. As each carload arrives, more and more of the group join with super soakers for some good, clean fun…until Amanda gets there.
She is wearing suede (in summer? The horror!) so she gets spared and complains about everything being wet, but at least Kyle and Ben laugh about getting soaked. It’s a fantastic start to the last weekend of the summer.
Carl announces that today is National Beach Day AND it’s also the two year anniversary of Carl and Lindsay’s break up, so it’s really a celebration! Lindsay adds to the excitement by telling the group she is hosting a dinner later that night.
As they get ready for the beach, the boys of summer bond. KJ admits he has never been one of the boys, so this house really meant a lot to him and he is sad to see the summer end.
They pile into the cars and are beachbound. During the ride, Ciara explains that she did meet up with Amanda in the city. Ciara goes on to say to those in the car that Amanda feels anxious and uptight when Kyle is around. She admits that she talked to Amanda about the potential of separating for a bit, but Lindsay is unsure that “getting space” is the right answer. It seems like a hail Mary to save their marriage and Lindsay immediately goes into momma bear mode, ready to help how she can.
Carl’s happy to celebrate two years of freedom from Lindsay while West admits that everyone thinks it’s weird he’s cool with Ciara now. Ben shares that everything is good with “the missus” and explains that he has yet to say I love you to Sabrina because he does not want to rush into anything, but going to Australia for Christmas seems totally ok.
Amanda explains to Mia that her weekend alone was “fabulous.” She asks Mia about West and Ciara’s double-date (that turned into others joining for drinks) and shares that she “felt so unwanted” because no one extended the invitation to her.
Maybe it’s a way of sh*tting on West and Ciara making up, or maybe at one point Amanda truly did feel this way, but she claims that it might be a little too soon for West and Ciara to have an intimate date after JUST becoming friends again.
Amanda explains that West is the issue and he needs to be all the way in with Ciara. She is “skeptical” of West and Amanda claims that “Ciara is a very special and incredible person.” “Until a man is capable of” realizing that about Ciara, Amanda “doesn’t trust anyone with her [Ciara’s] heart.”
Regarding Ciara, Amanda goes on to say she would “die for that girl” and states, “The way I would cut West off in one f*cking second if she [Ciara] looked at me.” Well, this is scary.
As this conversation is happening, Kyle chats with Ciara about couple’s therapy. He worries that they BOTH may not want to put in the effort to fix their marriage and Ciara admits that she talked to Amanda about the idea of a trial separation.
Kyle seems absolutely shocked when he hears this and becomes even more surprised when he realizes that Ciara already talked to Amanda about this topic. In fact, Amanda would be okay with a separation, but feels like Kyle would be against it. Kyle thanks Ciara for easing him into this and admits that he does not even know what Amanda actually wants.
Once back at the house, Lindsay welcomes the private chef and heads to get ready. Bailey wonders what is going on with the “light flirting” she is experiencing with Carl, but if Carl remembers what Bailey was wearing at the Soft Bar opening, there’s gotta be something going on, right?!
When they all sit down at the table to dine, Lindsay reminds the group that this exact date last year, she hosted a Freedom Dinner, but tonight’s dinner is called the Lost Supper. They begin playing a little game of lost and found and Lindsay kicks it off. Lindsay lost all timelines, but she found her dream girl. Bailey lost a dark relationship and found some joy/flirting. Ciara, the ultimate wing=woman, sets them up by asking if Carl and Bailey should make out, and they don’t need much coaxing. They begin sucking face right there at the table!
West claims he lost his voice last summer and found his ability to speak up and find a friendship that was lost for a long time. Ciara blushes as he tells her that it means the world to be back in her good graces.
KJ talks about the loss of his brother when he was a kid, but how he found a good group of boys to fill that void of brotherly love. Ciara lost a weight off of her shoulders of having to “dislike the person” she “loves the most” (you mean West?!!) and found the bars after 5 years.
According to Lindsay, Kyle lost his wedding right, but he found his DJ career. Ooph. Going on the defense, Kyle shares that he is about to sign with a manager who represents big acts and so he is preparing to treat his DJing like a career. He is going to kick off this new chapter in Vegas.
Lindsay wonders if Kyle had a conversation with Amanda, his wife, about what this means for their marriage before considering this next step, but it seems like this is the only conversation they’ve had about it. Bravo to Lindsay for stirring the pot, but wtf happened to Amanda’s voice? Why is SHE not chiming in to fight her own fight?
Everyone awkwardly waits as Kyle talks about taking on yet another business venture. DJing brings him joy and pays the bills, so there’s that. Lindsay tries to remind Kyle that he took on this career without talking to his wife, but Kyle wonders why his DJing is the butt of everyone’s joke this summer.
According to Lindsay, Amanda’s personal lawyer, Amanda wants to be a part of a team and start a family, but Kyle is not showing those traits. Kyle, ready to explode, points out that Amanda is not ready for a kid. Everyone can blast him all he wants, but he refuses to be blamed. He shares that for 7 years of his life, he worked his a*s off with no joy. Kyle feels under attack and is sick of everyone ganging up on him this summer.
Kyle once again tells Amanda “f*ck you” and West jumps to her defense. (It’s so cute to see West defend his girlfriend like that!). Weat even hops up and moves his chair next to Amanda. Kyle erupts and states that their marriage is NOT a partnership. In fact, Amanda is not pulling any weight in the relationship. He yells, “F*ck everyone” because he is sick of all the stuff he deals with when it comes to Amanda. He storms off, throwing sh*t, and starts fighting with Carl. THIS, this is the fight we’ve seen in those trailers and all I have to say is OMG. To be continued…
