Liam Neeson May Have Hard-Launched a New Age-Gap Romance

Liam Neeson set tongues wagging at the Toronto International Film Festival after arriving hand-in-hand with fellow actor Stella Stocker. The pair attended the September 12 premiere of Courteney Cox’s film “Evil Genius,” prompting fresh speculation about a possible romance between the stars. Neeson and Stocker previously appeared in the 2022 movies “Memory” and “Marlowe,” though there was no public chatter about a relationship during either production. For the TIFF red carpet, the “Cold Storage” actor opted for a relaxed look featuring a black sweater, blue jeans, and a leather jacket. Stocker complemented him in a sleeveless, full-length black gown with a cowl-style mock neckline, wearing her hair up to highlight her youthful look.

Their affectionate red-carpet appearance quickly drew attention to Neeson’s personal life, with fans also discussing the apparent age difference between the two. Neeson is 74, while Stocker’s precise age has not been publicly confirmed. Her talent agency lists her playing age as between 35 and 45, meaning that even at the upper end of that range, she would be roughly three decades younger than the veteran actor.

Posing next to Stocker did little to mask the “Schindler’s List” actor’s age in the eyes of social media critics. “[H]e looks 80,” one X user wrote. “[H]e was with pammy six months ago, the old dog!” another user noted, referring to Neeson’s brief romance with Pamela Anderson after they worked on “The Naked Gun” together. Later, the “Baywatch” alum shared details about dating her co-star.

The TIFF outing comes after Neeson was linked to Pamela Anderson following their work together on “The Naked Gun.” Their convincing on-screen chemistry fueled rumors that the relationship had continued away from the cameras. In December 2025, Anderson confirmed that the two had briefly become involved after filming wrapped. “If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming,” Anderson told People. The “Last Showgirl” star said she spent a week at Neeson’s upstate New York home, accompanied by both of their assistants, before they ultimately returned to their separate careers. “[W]e went our separate ways to work on other films,” she said. Despite the brief nature of their relationship, Anderson indicated that they remained supportive of one another, adding that Neeson has encouraged her evolving career and expressed pride in her work. “I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives,” she told People.

Still, Neeson has previously suggested that traditional dating was no longer a priority for him. One year before Anderson’s comments, the actor said he had stepped away from the dating world. “No, in a word. I’m past all that,” he told People in October 2024. He had also shared, a few years earlier, that he developed feelings for a woman while shooting a project in Australia before discovering she was already in a relationship.

Much of the “Taken” star’s romantic life has remained private since the death of his wife, Natasha Richardson, who died in 2009 after a skiing accident. Neeson later dated public relations executive Freya St. Johnston, who was 22 years his junior, but the couple ended their relationship in 2012.
