Lindsay Hubbard, known for her role on Summer House, threw a distinctive co-ed baby shower at the Paris Café in New York City this past Saturday. The event came shortly after she revealed that she and the baby’s father have decided they won’t initially be living under the same roof once their little one arrives.
The mom-to-be, 38, who parted ways with her fiancé Carl Radke last year, looked radiant in a pink sleeveless dress adorned with elegant lace details for the celebration.
Hubbard’s long, blonde hair was styled with an off-center part into a relaxed updo, featuring charming, face-framing pieces at the front. Her glowing complexion was enhanced with rosy-toned makeup and a glossy lip, complementing her chic ensemble.
Eager to celebrate their impending bundle of joy, Hubbard opted for a co-ed baby shower, breaking from the tradition of gatherings predominantly attended by women.
“What’s special about my baby shower is that it’s a his-and-hers event celebrating both the baby mama and the baby daddy,” the New York City native explained. “I didn’t want a conventional baby shower where I sit with my girlfriends, opening gifts. That’s not exciting for anyone. People want to enjoy your company and just have fun.”

Hubbard told Us Weekly about the location, ‘When I went to see the space, it was just so beautiful, so open. Especially during the day, [it] has tons of windows for sunlight to pour through and feels very like indoor/outdoor.’
She emphasized about her partner, who Page Six revealed is Dr. Turner Kufe, ‘I wanted my boyfriend to be celebrated and loved and supported by his friends and family as much as I am by my friends and family. So that was the main decision.’
There were no baby shower games, but she did ask guests to make predictions and share advice for the soon-to-be parents.
There was also a disposable cameras floating around the party for people to snap fun photos for her to look back on in the years to come.
‘I’m really big on making memories,’ Lindsay dished. ‘This moment is one of the biggest moments that is ever going to happen to me in my life, becoming a mother, and simultaneously, it’s going to be the biggest moment for [my boyfriend] in his life too. So it’s really important for me to be able to capture those memories together.’
Hubbard said in an August 29 appearance on the Housewives Nightcap podcast that she and Kufe remain residing in separate dwellings in New York City and that she was ‘not even thinking about moving in’ with him amid the pregnancy.
‘We live so close to each other in New York, literally within blocks,’ Hubbard said. ‘We’re on the same avenue.
‘And once the baby comes, I’m sure he’ll spend every single night because he’s obsessed with her, and doesn’t want to miss anything about her.’
Hubbard said that ‘when the timing is right’ in their ‘relationship, maybe we’ll move in together.’

Hubbard said she and Kufe were taking things ‘one step at a time’ amid the busy time, and that moving in together might have added stress to the proceedings.
‘I just didn’t want to put any more pressure, obviously, on this relationship that already comes with being pregnant and having a baby puts a lot of pressure on a new relationship,’ Hubbard said. ‘So I took all the outside pressures off. And it’s working for us.’
Hubbard said on the podcast that she had been working on putting together in one of the rooms of her Manhattan home for a girl’s nursery.
In September 2023, Lindsay’s engagement to Summer House co-star Radke came to an abrupt halt weeks before what was intended to be their big day.
Now, she says about where she is in life: ‘It’s really special to go into this new chapter of my life gaining a family. Especially for our daughter to have cousins nearby that she gets to play with and call her family as well.’
At the baby shower venue Saturday, dusty rose and mauve hues filled the room, as did flowers by Dearest Rachel and a display from Balloon Thrill.
Guests enjoyed artichoke hearts, chicken Milanese bites, Old Bay fries, and smashburger sliders.
There were also cocktails with names like The Baby Mama spicy margarita and The Baby Daddy negroni. Desserts by Brandon’s Donuts and Rebecca’s Cake Pops were served as well.

Hubbard’s Summer House castmates Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera and Gabby Prescod were all on hand for the shower.
‘I feel like this is a big moment for Summer House history,’ she shared.
And the star reflected, ”We had Kyle and Amanda get married, which was a huge milestone. And now with me being pregnant and having a baby, I think it’s another milestone of like, “Wow, OK, we have a Summer House baby!”‘
She previously announced that she and her beau are expecting a little girl and she’s now revealed to Us, ‘[I’m having a] Sagittarius girl. I’m actually scared for my boyfriend.
‘I am a Leo and now we’re having a Sag girl and both of us [are] fire/fire. She is already crazy. She is a maniac. Whenever we go get an ultrasound, she’s doing flips and tricks.’
She said she expects to ‘start really slowing down’ now that the baby shower is done, adding, ‘Just this week [I] got the entire nursery together. It’s done. It’s complete. I feel so good. And if I have this baby like tomorrow, I’m all set [with] everything that I need for her. I’m starting to pack my hospital bag.’
Hubbard is due very soon, with the baby expected to arrive within the next couple months.
